Check out the arrow releases in the uk slipcover thread;)

I think Arrow's releases are quite good actually. i know some people have beef with some of their transfers but it's never really bothered me to be honest

i have the following on Bluray

Dawn of the Dead
Day of the Dead
Phenemona
The Beyond
Inferno

and i have City of the Living Dead on DVD (won it from cult labs)

As long as your "The Beyond" blu doesn't have the slight oversight of the black and white opening, rather than the sepia one as intended, bigrob!

But I agree, other than that they are pretty solid given the budgets they have to work to and serve the Cult UK market very well. I shall look forward to the 1pm lift of the embargo!

I actually got my copy of Beyond from play.com on xmas eve. tested it right away and it was the B&W opening and not serpia (had the AB tin for ages). posted on cult labs who told me what to do. needless to say that i had my replacment disc delivered within the first week of Jan

You may have just mortgaged your life!
Shock gore master Lucio Fulci’s The House by the Cemetery is one of the finest typically single-minded exercises in zombie terror. Instead they stay long enough to discover their zombified non rent-paying lodger, the cellar-dwelling, flesh-hungry Dr Freudstein and boy is he pissed!

The King of New York (Arrow Video) Limited Edition Blu-ray
Christopher Walken is out of prison and back on the dirty streets of New York as convicted drug lord Frank White in a pitch black 90s crime classic from the magnificently disreputable Abel Ferrara (Driller Killer, Ms.45).
White returns to his old patch to find it in disarray as the parasites that moved in to capture his business don’t share in the same Robin Hood spirit. Soon he’s violently taking out the competition, stealing their stashes and turning a healthy profit on the gear, putting it towards building a new South Bronx hospital.
But you can’t make an omelette without breaking some heads. As the street killings rise and the corrupt cops close in, White’s crazed mix of criminal psychosis and heartfelt charity threatens to tear apart everything he’s fought so hard to build…
