Maybe I misunderstood. I thought this Arrow release was exclusive for Arrow (like Battle Royale ltd.ed. box) and the other exclusive to Play in the Universal 100 release.

Hey Sir, ah, ok. I don't know if there will be 2-I can't find any info on whether Universal and Arrow are working together. Perhaps Universal is doing distribution for Arrow in some territories...I don't know. We'll put this out, and merge later if necessary.

ok pardon my ignorance here but I am confused....arrow is a retailer for "play" or they will both have different versions? I like the arrow version...it's different.. it actually follows this iconic and outlandish movie ...this is like scarface you have to watch it multiple times but you know it's borders on retarded...but definetly entertaining anything "christopher walken" is usually awesome.... as a fan and collector I would but it anyway...

recommendation?? "Do I just buy it or will play version be same? or better?" or just cheaper...

SX-'Arrow' is a studio, as is 'Universal'. Play has listed an 'Exclusive' on their site under the 'Universal' studio name, and 'Arrow' has listed it on their website as well. It's not clear if there will be two different versions. Just to be sure-I will pull out posts related to the Play version, for now. I think we all need to stay tuned

Edit-it looks to me, like the 'Universal 100' Steelbooks are noted with 'Play.com Exclusive'. However, this 'King of New York' Steelbook does not say that. So to me, it looks as though this Steelbook is just also available at Play.com, along with Arrow's website, but it is not a play.com Exclusive, like the others, and not part of the 'Universal 100' wave.

I think there's some confusion here,there's two listings on play.one the steelbook from arrow video,and the limited edition from arrow,the normal arrow release with slipbox etc.
there's no listing saying play exclusive with universal.

Heard somewhere else that this is not a Play.com exclusive so only one steelbook version will be out. Also stated that the rating logos are stickers.

Nobody has said it'll be a Play.com exclusive.... it won't. Arrow are releasing two versions, one normal Blu0Ray release and the other being the steelbook, both of which all retailers should get
