Neither :ohno: It was sent in a "Lil' envelope"

Honestly, I can see where this could have arrived pretty heavily damaged, but there wasn't even a scuff on the package.

Thanks for the info Watchtower. I guess no ordering from Zavvi yet until they resolve that shipping container choice.

well after 9 days, its here in the states...these arrived today.the packaging i would say offers minimal protection.if theres a positive, and im stretching, the steelbook fits completely snug inside the cardboard envelopes with extra space around the edges;therefore somewhat protecting it.but the front and back of the steelbook are completely exposed since it is flush against the cardboard.so any protruding(pointed) object hitting the envelope will most likely ding the face of the steelbook.out of all the ones i ordered, one is damaged along the spine that is bending towards the center.good chance this was "dead" before it was shipped.i guess its not too bad considering i ordered a few...

Email them and complain about that - they'll offer you something I'm sure.

Are those from Zavvi? :(

This is why I won't order anything from Zavvi until they sort out their packaging for steels. They may occasionally have a price edge over amazon, but it's not worth the risk of receiving damaged stuff.

I really hope they address the matter of safe steelbook packaging before launching exclusives etc. It's one area where Play will be sadly missed.

That's standard packaging used by the Hut Group sites unfortunately, it's not up to the kind of handling that packages will get if set abroad :(

I just got this from the GB and I think it is quite nice. But from reading all the post I think this got a bit over hyped with it being Play.com's last exclusive and all. While the debossed bullet holes are nice, they are super tiny and nowhere near the size of a bullet. And I still think the lady jammed in the middle throws the symmetry off lol. Still glad I got it though. Gonna watch tonight.

Ahem, that lady "jammed in the middle" happens to be the hottest movie star right now at least in my book :drool:

PS - be prepared for a "surprise" from this "lady" in this movie :D

Yet im in the UK and mine hasnt arrived yet :ugh: Jesus Christ i hope they dont get any good exclusives

I got an email from them on Tuesday saying that mine hasn't been sent, they are very sorry and will update me in the future. I notice it has disappeared from the Zavvi website which leads me to believe its now out of stock and wont be coming back into stock.

Second that although remarkably only one out my 10 Warner Premiums had any damage. Bit like the old Amazon stuff (and they still send the odd one out too).

Apologies if OT.
