It appears to be, at the very least it won't play if you have a player set to region A.
"This disc cannot be played because your player setup specifies a different region code."
I have no way of testing region C, but would assume it's the same (plus the back card only shows B).

I was thinking about ordering this steelbook but the last time I made a purchase with AmazonFrance, they sent me a steelbook in the dreaded A1 card mailer, so not sure I want to try again.

I just received my two copies today from Amazon.fr and they have arrived in a large (slightly bigger than A4) cardboard mailer.
I haven't opened yet as I'm dreading to see what damage there may be - but I'm strangely wanting to, so that I can also see this lovely steel in all its' naked glory...
Ordered 2 steels from amz fr last week and they came in a bigger box...

Mine arrived from Amazon France in one of their A1 mailers, had a few minor scratches on the back under the J-Card but that was about it.
The most annoying thing is I'd pre-ordered this the day before release, then ordered 6 other steel books from them the following day and they sent the 6 altogether and this a day later due to a "shipping error".
I've received items in worse condition from Amazon (UK) lately even when sent in their decent packaging - two copies of Kill Bill 1 + 2, both were scratched (one of which is going back).
I think I will have a gamble, I may order this steelbook and another one to see what happens, could go either way I guess in terms of packaging. The Kill Bill 1 & 2 Steelbook, I have had a few with the same problems, usually paintwork is not good at the bottom of the steelbook, some minor scratches, not sure if it's a manufacturing problem.
For a cheesy horror flick, I'd give it between 4 out of 5.Sexy looking steel.
Is the movie any good?
If you're looking for anything remotely serious though, definitely look elsewhere.
