I'll have to admit though, the fifth picture they've posted has even me wondering whether that design was potentially meant for the fan-made "Romantic comedy series mash-up" of the film?

I understand the disappointment, the expectations were very (VERY) high. Do not forget that the wait is due in part to the documentary.

Personally, i really like this artwork.

Can't wait to see the steelbook and the others slips.

I hope they use the postcards illustrations

PA has some great, innovative finishes, but their designs -- to me -- often fall flat. I was hoping Old Boy would have the 'drawn' look of films like Zero Dark Thirty and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. This design seems to be all over the place. It doesn't have any coherent flow to it. The spine, front/back, book, case... it's all different. The only consistent thing is the purple colouring and the last time I checked, this isn't a Prince movie.

I think @Snollygoster will come up with better design.

@Snollygoster, @Noodles, @zesty... I've seen our members here come up with better mock artwork for films time and time again.

I like the slipbox art and the envelope. The art cards are also cool and the booklet. I don't like the artwork for the Amaray case or the poster though. I might pick this up but it depends what artworks are used for the Steelbook.
