Panasonic TC-P50VT25 3D plasma (highest rated TV on CNet) is $1,799 - $600 rebate = $1,199. I saw this in San Francisco today, and there's one left - the display model so I'll pass. They did a search for me and there are 4 in North Fresno. You have to pay sales tax and the CA waste fee, but Costco's 2 year warranty helps soften the blow. The 46-incher is $1,099 and there are several stores that have it.
