Resident Evil 1-4 (Blu-ray SteelBook) (Wal-Mart Exclusive) [USA]

As some of you may know Wal-Mart here in the states will be receiving these SteelBooks, which are exactly the same as the ones from Futureshop in Canada. Per another forum they mentioned that the release date is on this Tuesday (8/31/10). Each SteelBook™ is set to retail for $15 each which is pretty cheap for a SteelBook™.

Hi John! Nice to see you on here as well. I believe they will be different since the paper half slipcover states it's a Wal-Mart exclusive and the Canadian one says it's from Futureshop so expect different UPC's#.

My friend was today in 4 wallmarts and well, no Steelbook, also the managers did not know anything about it. Guess it is time to wait until Thuesday

Yeah, as many have remarked, I am guessing those that already found them, simply went to stores, where they broke street date. Interesting to see Walmart of all stores jump in the Steelfray

Book of Eli states "Made In Denmark".

I think.

Anyway, if you can guess where I'm going with this, you'll get extra bonus points.

Yes.

But on the other hand, Walmart ordered a bunch of copies, I'm sure, so they probably got some kind of volume discount - probably still wasn't as expensive to get from Europe.

I just picked up my set. The back paper cover says printed in USA. Not sure if that means the actual steelbook was made here.

If you end up opening the steelbook, please check the steelbook art on the back or where the movie info is - it's too small to come out on this picture of Book of Eli, but in the very far right bottom corner, I believe it states where it was printed.
