confirmed G1 - supposedly probably the last to come out of NA factory.

This might be the reason why Future Shop declined to share this one with Best Buy (assuming they were offered the choice)

Sweet G1 I like G1s and it means there might actually be a chance of me getting this and not having to wring my hands for weeks in frustration and come away empty handed like I have time and time again on first the Ghost Riders and now the WB line.

Sadly, Best Buy, nor any other retailer has a final say if the studio wants to release a G1. But since there is now a G2 line in the US, hopefully we're done with these...

Steels are pretty though no matter what size they come in Plus with them being G1 I don't have to worry about fighting all the crazies for them almost make me love them being G1 with all the hardships I have gone through the last month to get a single steel in store.

I don't mind G1 but only for video games steels and G2 only for my Blu rays. I like to keep them all aligned, Chingon Style

I am picky about that for sets, like if I have Ironman in G1 I want Ironman 2 in G1, its why I am thinking of buying the two Batman movies in G2 because even though I have the Dark Knight in G1 I don't have a Batman Begins to go with it and if we get a Dark Knight Rises its most definitely going to be G2 and it has to match the set.

Sequels and franchises have to all match but say for something like Green Lantern and or Safe House that are stand alones I am totally good with G1's versus G2's. Although if they ever make a sequel of Green Lantern I might have to get the G2 version, Fast Five is a unique one because I am not sure you can even get all 5 to match without going all country crazy and importing.

Saw this last week and quite enjoyed it, Denzel goes in, UK G2 all the way guys, German steelbook is a huge dissappointment and so is this.

what do you mean ? like this is supposed to be a DVD, BLu-Ray and Digital Copy combo back not a Blu-Ray, DVD, Digital Copy combo pack ?
if so then that most likely means that the UK Safe House steelbook will be g2

That's untrue, the US Best Buy version is a blu-ray edition.

It's a G1 size, because until recently the USA factory could not print G2.
