Hey guys - there's a video on amazon.com and IGN that has the humidor edition and the guy unwraps the steelbook. Part of the way in, you can see the front and given that the top of the case has writing on it - and the way the banner overlays the art on the front - I'm very confident to say that the banner is cardboard.

I think that only adds to the confusion - the actual product video from amazon and IGN shows the item - that's really the thing we should be pointing to.
