Surprised you noticed the height but not the Metalpacky looks of the spine. This pic is a photoshop messdon't pay any attention to it.
Like DK06CTR said, it's G2. Seen it in stores myself and almost every Steelbook dedicated forum has photos of it.
i was going on the pix inpost 33 (justintime2k) the size and the way the discs overlap make it look g1.
comparing to 2 disc steels i have already, its not possible to lay 2 discs over each other and almost see the centre hole of the lower disc.
hopefully ths pics are just out of ratio, as i was looking forward to getting it.
the pix in post 33 clearly show an open steelbook. metalpack would not have the centre spine, so its certainly a steelbook which is a big plus.
hopefully mine wont take too long to arrive

G2 size steelbook, no extras on the disc though, and the steelbook itself will not be anybodys favourite, but at least the title on the spine is in english and the right way up.
no inside artwork either, i can upload some pix if anyone is interested.
only have a phone cam though, so not overly high res.

i have this and i can confirm that it plays well in Region A, Watched it on my Ps3 with no problem.
