Yep I haven't ordered anything from HMV in a while now, cos there packaging isn't great, I'd rather spend the few extra pennies getting it mint in store rather getting it cheap and damaged.

Wish I could do the same, unfortunately the large HMV near to me has started opening all its steels before putting them on display The most annoying thing recently is that I have received 4 damaged copies of TGWTDT, yet I went into the store the other day and they had half a dozen all open but all mint!?!

I'd like to think I got lucky with SH2, all the ones I got delivered were good. But to be honest, I've only ever had problems with HMV delivered steels when I ordered TGWTDT.

There are few HMV stores in East London where Steels are stocked but don't sell. Will have a look but don't want to waste too much time.

I am sure there should be some left at Bluewater or Lakeside.

Picked one up today in Kingsgate, Huddersfield. Had about 5 in stock...even though I have the German steelbook with both films....couldn't help myself!

It's really sad to read so much about damaged steelbooks...am I ever lucky I got a copy in perfect condition although the bd was quite loose in the package.

I got mine today but it is dented on the front left.
This is amazingly enough this was my first ever dented Steelbook from HMV.
I am guessing I got to pay for shipping it back, will contact them soon.
