Hello and welcome to my Star Wars themed mancave. As you can see I am a huge fan of both Star Wars Trilogies. The statues you see here are from Sideshow Collectibles' Premium Format line. The collection itself is still very much a collection in progress, I couldn't tell you when I'll be finished but I do know that I am not done yet and I still have more statues on the way and I also have more posters/prints that will be added once they are framed.

The cabinets you see here are from Ikea, but all the parts are sold separately. The units themselves are called Besta, the doors are called Sindvik, and the interior lights are called Stotta.

In addition to the Star Wars collection the room features a Samsung 46" 3D LED TV, a Samsung HT-E5400 3D Home Theater System, as well as a Sony PS3 and a PS4.

A company called Dragon is making Star Wars ships. All of them are in 1/144 scale which is pretty small, but they are making a 1/35 AT-AT which would be about 2 feet tall.

Okay I just found their facebook page. Thats a huge difference between 1/144 and 1/35! I see Bandai has some SW models available at BBTS in 1/48 and 1/72 scales that are pretty cheap. I'm guessing those tiny 1/144 models should be around the $15 or under range? That big AT-AT should look pretty sweet though!

April 5th will be circled on my Star Wars calendar! I'm surprised it's not 2 weeks earlier so it would be out in time for Easter.

My head would probably explode from a Sith vs. Jedi army battle as well! You have no idea how many times I re-watched the Geonosis arena battle with all the Jedi charging into battle. That was one of my favorite moments from the PTs.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who disliked Frank Miller's TDKR. Being a big Superman fan I didn't like the way he was portrayed in the story and I really didn't like the art at all. I figured I would dislike Miller's run on Daredevil as well, but I absolutely loved it.

I have no idea what's going on with SS. Their 1/6 Maul comes with barebones accessories and no stand for $239.99! Then their 1/4 scale prices are all over the place right now too. Aquaman, Green Lantern, and Green Goblin were all listed close together at the following prices: $429.99, $449.99, and $519.99!




Yeah it's not fact that ESB is the greatest SW movie, but I don't argue that it's usually considered the greatest. Like I said, it's my least favorite of the OT and it would be the last one I would show to kids. I know when I was a kid I found it to be the most boring which is probably why it's still my least favorite, ha. Of course least favorite Star Wars movies is still one of my top 20 movies! I bet it's killing all those ESB people that TFA has a higher score on Rotten Tomatoes right now.

The first Jedi temple would be a good idea. We could also see how the dark side is discovered and the first Sith is born. Then after they could give me my Darth Bane trilogy to show how the rule of two was created!

I have no idea what that Master Replicas announcement means. I'm actually hoping they'll go back and finish the Fozzie Bear they were making.

And, what he actually looked like before the "ghost" version of him in TCW. Yeah, I'd love the see how they discovered how to use Kyber crystals and when they actually started developing powers.

Is it really? LMAO! That is awesome! don't get me wrong. I love ESB. Vader doing his thing. Which reminds me, my wife and I were talking about Kylos tantrums and she said it's just like Vader except when Vader threw his tantrum, he killed people (alot in ESB). That is why I love my wife. I didn't really connect the two, but it makes sense. When there was failure, Kylo took it out on equipment and stuff while Vader took it out on people (typically those who failed). ANH is still my favorite of the OT, but damn if Jedi doesn't get your blood pumpin' during the last battle. When Lando and crew drop from hyperspace and the music is blaring in all its glory, F! YEAH!

Jedi on Geonisis charging into battle is so epic! I get goose bumps every time. Would love to see more of that.

I'm not sure why the increase in price from SS when the product quality isn't improving and neither is the packaging. I could understand if we were getting a better product with better packaging instead of what they use now, but we aren't. It really does remind me of the old MR days before Corgi bought them out and things went seriously south.

You should have punched that guy in the face right in the middle of the class! LOL! The kids would have been like "Ohhhhhhhhhhh!"

I'm just not that excited about the Han film. If he would have been the same age he is now during the OT I'd probably be more accepting of them having to recast a younger actor, but since we've had Harrison from the start its going to be really hard for me to accept anyone else playing Han.

I'd love to see a Jedi origin story, especially with Yoda. I'd also love a Qui-Gon spinoff but I know the ship has sailed with any hope of them doing anything else with that character.



I hope this date sticks. Thats just a bit more than 3 months away!

I didn't like the way Supes was portrayed in that comic either. And I just got done reading The Wolverine Japan Saga which Frank Miller did the artwork for an its gorgeous! I just don't understand why the artwork in TDKR looks so terrible, Miller can do great artwork when he wants to. And tons of people love the way TDRK looks!?!? It just boggles my mind.

I'm probably going to have a super busy day tomorrow so in case I don't get back here tomorrow I want to wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Unless they bring is voice back for Rebels. Loved that Liam came back for TCW. Especially in Season 6.

Yeah, I'm sure I'd like it, but is it really necessary. You're right! We've seen Han young. Are they going to go back before the Han we saw in ANH? Personally, that Ewan/ Kenobi movie would be far more interesting, IMO.

LOL! I felt bad for him. He ended up telling me that he loved AOTC, but he got razzed so much on the internet for it, that it kinda broke him from really liking anything Star Wars. This is exactly why I'm such a dick to those bashers and haters. They bully those who don't think like they do, and sometimes a bully needs to be bullied to learn a lesson. I don't give a rats if those types have a low opinion of me. As long as they shut the F up and move on, it is a win for everyone.

From the casting rumors I've heard it sounds like they are thinking about maybe jumping around a bit with Solo's age in the new movie, but all of them would be younger than he was in ANH. I've heard they were looking at Aaron Taylor Johnson (the dude from Godzilla), Dave Franco, and Carl from the Walking Dead?!?! . I just can't see the last one playing Han.

Man, you can't go anywhere online without being bashed for liking the prequels. I actually went everywhere online looking at what people were saying abut TFA accept for the SW sites, which I finally went to a couple of days ago, and my head literally wants to explode right now. I figured there would be some, no matter how well the film turned out, that wouldn't be happy with it. Practically every comment I've read is bashing the movie and JJ. They are just complaining constantly about this movie being ANH 2.0, and now they think VIII will be ESB 2.0. And now there are people out there who are accusing people who like the prequels as "saying JJ ruined SW." And I've seen prequel fanboys even say things like "the prequels felt like art, this movie just felt like Disney trying to keep their cash cow going". Its pretty clear this new trilogy is going to end up dividing the fan base even more than it already is. And I remember not that long ago I said it would be possible that VII could be received the same way online as the prequels were and it seems like thats coming true. God I hate the internet sometimes.

LOL! I've noticed over the years that those who are the most critical typically are unhappy with themselves, so they lash out, anonymously via the Internet. Lets face it, if those same people were to say the things they say online and in forums out in the "real world" they'd get their ass beat!

Carl, really? They'd go that young? I don't know man. It'd have to be a hell of a story to take the focus off someone other than Harrison playing Han. How old was Han in ANH? 25 maybe?

Yeah, a lot of people have keyboard balls lol. I'm actually interested to see how this new trilogy pans out with the online "fans" over the next decade or so. I actually find it funny, Disney & LFL made TFA the way it is because of all of the hatred the prequels received online, so they made it as close to the OT as possible. And now fans are complaining that its too much like the OT. They are also complaining that the movie left too many loose ends and ends with a cliffhanger (literally with Luke on the top of a cliff LOL!), when their beloved ESB ends with one of the biggest cliffhangers of all-time. So they loved that but not this? I think I've got to start taking the internet a lot less seriously and stop letting it get to me, and learn to just laugh at it sometimes.

I think Harrison was in his mid 30's when he made ANH. Ideally If they were going to do a Han movie I wish they'd still use Harrison and either have it take place right before TFA, or use some kind of de-aging effect on him. Did you see Ant-Man? They did some absolutely incredible de-aging work on Michael Douglas for the beginning of the movie.

Have you been keeping up with the 12 days of Sideshow? Today they just revealed another one of my all-time wants in PF form the Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman. I have the Tweeterhead one on order and it should be here in February, but I think I'm going to have to flip it to get this. We still got 9 more days to go, can't wait to see what else they reveal. I wonder if they'll reveal they have another license acquired only to never make products from it *cough* Guardians of the Galaxy & Amazing Spider-Man 2 *cough* LOL!

No, haven't unfortunately. IMO, it's kinda like SS saying they would have 2 new PF's (besides the droids) up for PO in December and then push them back to next year. It's just marketing to get collectors talking and SS just sits on those teases and previews. I hope they release that Catwoman though. Pfeiffer Catwoman is the best!

Yeah, I agree whatever CG they used for Douglas was done perfectly. It literally took me a minute to realize, "Hey! That's a young Michael Douglas! He's supposed to be old!" LOL! Even my wife was like, "Oh yeah! WOW!" Might be different for Harrison though since I'm sure the character would have to do a bunch of action stuff, and you'd be able to tell the difference between a young guy and Harrison running around. Your idea of a movie set right before TFA sounds good though. Maybe finally finishing off Boba Fett.

While previews and teases are nice sometimes, I just can't get excited like back in the day.

I absolutely loved Tron Legacy, but I agree Bridges face looked really CG in some of the scenes. They've gotten a lot better with that over the last 5 years.

I just read that Kylo is supposedly going up for order in February. Still no word on Jango and the Sandie. I think its safe to say the Vader LSF is completely dead.

By the way I just saw San Andreas yesterday. I have to say that chick in that movie has the most epic pair of tits I have ever seen!

Dave Franco? Ugh, no thanks. He's got one of those faces that I just want to punch for some reason. Plus he's already 30. The more I think about it, the more I think a Han Solo movie is a terrible idea. His story has already been told by one actor and with thousands of years to explore, there's no reason to keep rehashing the same characters/era over and over. At least make an Ewan McGregor Obi-Wan movie while the window is there!

I seriously have to stay off forums and comment sections, I can't stand all the trolls. I got into an argument with someone the other day because he said TFA was so terrible that he walked out in the middle of it. Now I don't care if he didn't like the movie, but I wanted to know why he would walk out of a movie for any reason other than to say that he did it. Of course instead of explaining himself, him (and others) just started calling me a dork/nerd and fanboy, asking me if I've ever even kissed a girl and questions like that.

This new Star Wars movie has been giving me flashbacks to how much I hated high school. Back in the 90s with the Nirvana/grunge era it wasn't cool to like anything. I had a wall covered in Star Wars figures in high school and hid it from everyone for fear of being made fun of. Now it's cool to like superheroes and Star Wars. But you can still find people my age (who were bullies that probably peaked in high school) who will make fun of Star Wars. I follow our local newspaper on facebook and they posted an article about all the people dressed up at the theater for the premiere...and of course there were those people who commented "grow up" or "what a bunch of losers." Sorry I'm ranting now, but the Internet is pissing me off! A lot of these people need to get their asses kicked.

On a happier note, I went to TFA again last night. It was even better the second time!

I was wondering if you were excited about that Catwoman announcement. Did you end up keeping your Keaton PF? I thought you mentioned once that you were thinking of selling it.

I'm guessing those 2 Star Wars PFs will be the Sandtrooper and Jango? The ones they teased well over a year ago, ha. Sideshow isn't even at a crawl with their Star Wars PFs right now, it's gotten to a stand still. Heck it took them nearly 2 years to get Cody out after the pre-order went up!

Dave Franco? Ugh, no thanks. He's got one of those faces that I just want to punch for some reason. Plus he's already 30. The more I think about it, the more I think a Han Solo movie is a terrible idea. His story has already been told by one actor and with thousands of years to explore, there's no reason to keep rehashing the same characters/era over and over. At least make an Ewan McGregor Obi-Wan movie while the window is there!

I seriously have to stay off forums and comment sections, I can't stand all the trolls. I got into an argument with someone the other day because he said TFA was so terrible that he walked out in the middle of it. Now I don't care if he didn't like the movie, but I wanted to know why he would walk out of a movie for any reason other than to say that he did it. Of course instead of explaining himself, him (and others) just started calling me a dork/nerd and fanboy, asking me if I've ever even kissed a girl and questions like that.

This new Star Wars movie has been giving me flashbacks to how much I hated high school. Back in the 90s with the Nirvana/grunge era it wasn't cool to like anything. I had a wall covered in Star Wars figures in high school and hid it from everyone for fear of being made fun of. Now it's cool to like superheroes and Star Wars. But you can still find people my age (who were bullies that probably peaked in high school) who will make fun of Star Wars. I follow our local newspaper on facebook and they posted an article about all the people dressed up at the theater for the premiere...and of course there were those people who commented "grow up" or "what a bunch of losers." Sorry I'm ranting now, but the Internet is pissing me off! A lot of these people need to get their asses kicked.

On a happier note, I went to TFA again last night. It was even better the second time!

I was wondering if you were excited about that Catwoman announcement. Did you end up keeping your Keaton PF? I thought you mentioned once that you were thinking of selling it.

I'm guessing those 2 Star Wars PFs will be the Sandtrooper and Jango? The ones they teased well over a year ago, ha. Sideshow isn't even at a crawl with their Star Wars PFs right now, it's gotten to a stand still. Heck it took them nearly 2 years to get Cody out after the pre-order went up!

But I might sell the small Tweeterhead Pfeiffer for the PF whenever that thing finally ships, probably in like 2018 lol. It sounds like the Tweeterhead is supposed to ship in the end of January! If I really end up liking it I could also pass on the PF altogether, and just display the Tweeterhead with the Keaton PF, unmatching scales be damned.

I absolutely loved Tron Legacy, but I agree Bridges face looked really CG in some of the scenes. They've gotten a lot better with that over the last 5 years.

I just read that Kylo is supposedly going up for order in February. Still no word on Jango and the Sandie. I think its safe to say the Vader LSF is completely dead.

Sandi and Jango! Ugh! I heard from a friend that an SS rep said the Sandi was finished and painted. Again, SS just trying to bait SW collectors with small nibbles. Just put it up for PO and ship the damn thing! Of course, doesn't seem XM is moving fast on thier 1/4 SW license either.

Congrats man! Was supposed to go tonight but plans fell through. Hopefully this weekend.

LOL! Yeah, one of my wifes FB friends made a similar comment about pimple face geeks and such lining up for TFA. She then quickly put up one of my workout pics along with my collection pic and a pic of me standing in line. She didn't respond but alot of my wifes other FB friends and family sure did. "Burn" and "Touche" were used quite a bit. Like you though, I was often picked on for being a SW geek. Nothing real bad, but if it happened to my girls, I'd be doing something about it. My parents didn't seem to care especially my dad who thought I should concentrate on sports. It's funny now though at reunions where those same people are now over weight, glasses wearing, and fitting their own definition of "nerd" now. Can't help but smile a bit at it.

Unfortunately, it's the nature of the Net. All of these trolls have issues with themselves and the Net is their only outlet to take those issues, and troll. Kinda why I like FB a little more. People who comment usually have a real profile and they're not just some random faceless person. There's a little more at stake in a way.

I did see the Finn pics, I think he looks great. I will probably order him eventually. I received the First Order stormtrooper and Vader (and Maria Hill) last week and Luke should be here this week. The pace they are releasing them at is getting a little crazy, ha. I have FOUR final flex payments (Obi-Wan, Sandtrooper, Stormtrooper Luke, and PF Power Girl) that should be shipping on the 5th as well. Not sure if I'll order any of the other FO Troopers besides the main stormtrooper, although the flame trooper and TIE fighter are both pretty cool looking.

I know exactly what you are saying about not wanting to just leave them in the box. That part really sucks. But at the same time, its best to keep buying the pieces you know you'll want as soon as you can so you can get them at retail or below, and just worry about getting display cases later. The display case prices will all relatively be the same, but if you miss out on a figure it can double, tripple or even quadruple in price and then 1 piece can cost you what all of your displays would cost combined. As I typed that I realized how crazy we all are spending hundreds of dollars on a piece of plastic or polystone each LOL.

Thats what i thought they might end up doing, kind of like how Judge Dredd kept his helmet on the whole time in the last movie. But I'm hoping to get at least one scene with his helmet off.

Oh yeah! I get the usual, "You don't look like a Star Wars fan." Then I put a little scowl on my face and say, "WTF is a SW fan supposed to look like?" By this time they are either backpeddling or have an oh crap look on their face, LOL! My wife usually steals my thunder though and says I'm just joking around. My favorite time was when I went to a local comic shop looking for Visial Dictionaries, and the 2 guys there treated me like I was a poser. I played dumb like I only knew some of what SW was. Little did they know I was meeting my buddy there, and when he showd up he said to one guy, "This is one of the biggest SW fans you'll ever meet. You should see his room!" And, my buddy started showing them pics. LOL! So, it can come from both geeks and jocks I guess. Getting looked down upon for either being a geek or a poser.

I hope that is what it is! Just sad though that we haven't seen or heard anything in months! Even Iron Studios who announced their SW license a few months after XM did has a couple 1/10 statues coming or up for PO.

I hope we see one of the other SW PFs at least previewed during the 12 days thing, and hopefully with a real picture of the thing, not a drawing. But I wouldn't count on it.




I do so much complaining about SS not being able to get SW PFs up for order, but at least there isn't a new one going up every other week like the SW HTs lol. I have no idea how you're able to afford all of them at this incredible rate, plus getting comic PFs on the side.

I think Michael B Jordan is a fine actor, but since we know Boba is a clone then we know what he's supposed to look like under the helmet, and he's not a black guy lol. I'm really hoping they bring Temuera Morrison back. He was definitely one of my favorite actors from the prequels.

Yeah! I guess Boba would be older than what Logan is. They will most likely have him keep the helmet on just like Urban in Dredd. I guess it really depends on what the timeline is. Closer to ROTS or closer to ANH.

LOL! They are epic no doubt! Other than that, it is an awesome fun movie! Love disaster movies. That one scene where all the boats are racing towards the tsunami is frikkin' epic! Love that movie!

I know exactly what you are saying about not wanting to just leave them in the box. That part really sucks. But at the same time, its best to keep buying the pieces you know you'll want as soon as you can so you can get them at retail or below, and just worry about getting display cases later. The display case prices will all relatively be the same, but if you miss out on a figure it can double, tripple or even quadruple in price and then 1 piece can cost you what all of your displays would cost combined. As I typed that I realized how crazy we all are spending hundreds of dollars on a piece of plastic or polystone each LOL.

Thats what i thought they might end up doing, kind of like how Judge Dredd kept his helmet on the whole time in the last movie. But I'm hoping to get at least one scene with his helmet off.
