Are these steels limited from this company or is it safe to order closer to release date? Thanks.

Depends on the film distributor involved in regards to finish some have been gloss and some been matte finish
FYE are only a retailer selling products offered to them to sell from distributors with some been offered as exclusives
Some of these steelbooks may show up with other retailers at a later stage
