I really appreciate all the information Kevin gets for us on this and other releases, even when its apparent that full details are not yet fully disclosed. (Choi too). I think that without this sort of information follow-up/feedback, I would not have bothered with something not set in stone. And I'm kind of enjoying the dance-of-the-seven-veils which this release brings. Thanks K.

Something doesn't add up. According to the OP each artwork is 500 copies each. Using Type A for some quick calculations, here is what's been available so far on Blufans forum:

Ultimate pack - 100 (45 + 45 over two preorder sessions)
Type A with ship - 60 (30 + 30 over two preorder sessions)
Triple pack - 50 (37 sold, 13 remaining)
Single Type A ~ 200 sold

That's 410 copies. Now add in the HDN group buy of 70 + 100. That's more than 500.

Here are all the SKUs on Blufans. You can see the quantities sold by clicking on the second tab in the middle of the page.

I counted the total number of type A copies sold in total. This includes the ultimate pack and triple pack that has type A. HDN GB has 70 copies triple pack and 100 copies type A. That means HDN GB has a total of 170 type A steelbook. Add this to the roughly 400 total copies of type A sold on Blufans, and the total number of type A steelbook is more than 500.

It is not total 500, and it is 500 copies for each steelbook.

I see what you are saying. I was giving the number couple weeks ago and will check with Blufans again for the latest. thank you for the counting!
I wouldn't be worry about it too much since all these copies will be individually numbered.

As far as it has own number, it does not exceed total number for sure as always blufans does.

I also love to get 501/500, it's super rare stuff.

lol, I see. No, I had no idea what it was all about. As a rule, I can't stand sci-fi, but there's the odd film here and there that I don't mind.

I do, however, feel slightly more enlightened now.

In other words, if these are going to be matte, what sets the B design apart from the FS exclusive to justify the price premium?

Well, one of the reasons i'd be interested is the limited 500, there's still about 10 of these left in stock at blufans.
