So are people from the uk who ordered from USA keeping their order?
I just want to confirm if anyone can to make sure I won't get any import fees because of the $24.96 import fees deposit on the order.

I remember it being mentioned a few months ago but not too sure. Plus it's the last few days to cancel and don't want a import fee when it arrives

Are these the same as the UK ones?
If so, i pretty much got &$!%$#d for not seeing this thread earlier.....Zavvi just shipped mine, so these cost me like double to get from UK!!

I gotta check the site more often.....LOL

I've used Amazon's Global Shipping Service many times. The Import Fees Deposit covers ALL Customs charges. The paperwork and payment of Import VAT is sorted out between the carrier and HMRC, so there are no unpleasant surprises.

The carrier's fees are paid for by Amazon under a contract, so you won't get the handling charge that a normal surcharged package incurs (Royal Mail £8/Parcel Force £13.50).

In the event of a change in the official HMRC exchange rate, by the time your parcel arrives in the UK, any extra VAT that is due will be paid by Amazon and not you. Conversely, if the exchange rate change is in your favour, then you'll be refunded the difference, although that will take 60 days to implement.

Sometimes, for whatever reason, a package can get through without being surcharged, in which case, after 60 days have elapsed, you'll be refunded the full amount of the Import Fees Deposit. Doesn't happen too often these days but when it does, it makes for a pleasant surprise when you get the e-mail from Amazon.

Hope this assists.

When they get here, maybe check how much it would cost to return it back. Maybe you'll still be saving as the UK edition is wayyy more expensive.

Brilliant, thanks for that

I'm still peeved about the no digital copy its a ridiculous $20 a movie on vudu and there is no disc to digital, such BS

Hmm... I may have to cancel my Amazon preorders and get Best Buy to price match Targrt because I have a $30 BBY gift card to use.

I'll consider the Target option of $14.99 and use redcard + $30 in gift cards
getting it @ BB with a Target PM and using rewardzone is also an option for me.
Either way the price is much more favorable in the US, but as @sirdizzy mentioned, these should have included digital copies

This guy found these out in the wild at a Walgreens of all places! ;)

I think its safe to say these will have a massive printing if drug stores are stocking them, and don't be shocked if they end up in the bargin bin in a year or so, i'm gonna hold off.

Wtf. I wonder how much Walgreens has then for. And what the skus are

Is anyone else annoyed that he referred to Emperor Palpatine as Darth Sidious on the RotJ steelbook?

NEVER remind people of the prequel trilogy where humanly possible!!!
