The media is how I knew it was back, so it was fairly widely reported, because I definitely wasn’t seeking news on Gone with the wind.

I'm just going off my own experience, but I didn't see a single story about it whereas I saw lots of stories about it being taken down.

Obviously people reported on it, but I doubt to the same degree.

Regardless of what Disney chose, at least they went with black and white like the photo's above suggest the world was like in 1980. Hmmm.
