Oh my gosh, I laughed so hard picturing that Yoda! You know I actually have 3 Daredevil statues and the closest to the Captain Morgan pose is technically the XM, ha ha.

Well technically the Sandtrooper was teased almost two years ago so it still took them forever in a way. I kind of think XM is maybe pushing Sideshow to get their crap together, but I could be wrong. If you check the Marvel statue thread on the Freaks forum it's mostly all XM. I didn't order the sandtrooper, it's okay but really only looks good from one angle.

Yeah Lucas should have hired someone to write the dialogue in the prequels...or did he? I don't pay that close of attention.

LOL. Now XM is stealing pages out of the Sideshow pose book.

It would be nice if SS could crank more PFs out this quickly after they go up for order, but I'm thinking the Sandtrooper was just randomly moved ahead of other stuff.

I think he wrote the entire script for all 3 prequel movies. I'm not sure if he ever revised any of them or brought anyone in to revise any of them.

That's just for the tunic and pants and it would cost $400 shipped. So I'd have to pay another $100+ for the belt/boots and probably close to $200 for the robe. And I don't have a lightsaber either! Decisions decisions.

But he might be too popular so I might go with Jango instead, or one of the clones, either Cody or Rex. Once I stop collecting stuff I might actually do this.

HT just teased their Rogue One Vader

I'm going to make a leap here, but after looking at all of the pictures he only includes a non-lit saber. Going by how much scene accuracy HT went with on the Resistance Outfit Rey, she also only includes a non-lit saber as she never turns it on in that scene. Could this mean that Vader never lights up his lightsaber in all of Rogue One?

I need to look into the 501st a lot more. I get the vibe some of the members, especially the higher ups, are really elitist thinking a lot of people aren't good enough, or their outfits aren't good enough even though they are more screen accurate than what the 501st accepts. I hope I'm way off, but thats just a vibe I got.

The only bad thing is that's probably the only BB-8 Sideshow will make in PF form. Of course they'll probably come out with a solo one on a base that hooks to R2 and 3PO. I'm really interested to see how they do on the face sculpt, it's been a while since they've done a Star Wars PF human likeness.

I wasn't planning on going shopping, what are you picking up? I saw Hasbro is making a black series stormtrooper helmet, that has Christmas gift potential for my nephews! Hasbro is actually diving into Marvel props now too, they are coming out with a metal Captain America shield next month. It's $300 which is the cheapest option for that shield so far, unfortunately it doesn't come with a wall mount. I always thought it would be cool to have a CA shield, but didn't want to pay the $500+ eFX and King's Art were asking.

Maybe the pants are waterproof. I just thought it looked a bit bizarre to have armor everywhere else except for the pants. Thats gotta be a first for a trooper, although the biker scout was close.

I'll admit BB-8 is at least slightly making me consider the set. I'm definitely not going to buy him by himself with a sand base, but if they make him later to hook up with the Droid PFs that would be phenomenal! Unless he's like $300. I think I'd tell SS to pound sand at that point. I sure do wish I could see the rest of Rey's outfits. I really love the outfit she's in during the end of TFA. If they start with that in VIII maybe they'll do that in PF someday. I think the face sculpt will be good. They showed an unpainted version of the new Maul and he looks phenomenal! The possibility of a problem will probably come down to how Rey's flesh tone paint turns out on the piece when it ships. I have a feeling it will be pretty dull like the most of their human PFs. They've gotta get HTs painters to show them how to do flesh tones, and if that doesn't work change the material on the heads to some kind of plastic instead of poly. Maybe that may help a complex paint job adhere better.

I'm not sure if I'm going to pick anything up at all yet. If I do I'm not going to spend a lot on Hasbro stuff, I'd be doing it more for nostalgia purposes of getting a new figure to go with the new movie. I'll take a look and see if anything catches my eye if anything is available online tonight. I did see a video of that new voice changing black series Stormtrooper helmet and that thing is badass!

$300 sounds really steep for anything from Hasbro. I hope it turns out okay, I guess when I hear the name Hasbro I automatically assume cheapness.

I definitely would prefer Rey with a lightsaber instead of the staff. But since this is a Jakku base I don't think she's going to come with one. If they had to do this version I wish they at least would have put her on Starkiller Base so she could have had the saber. If the price is reasonable on this set I may still consider it, but since its probably not going to be my ideal version I'll probably wait awhile before ordering it to see if any other Jedi come out that I'd want more. The little space I have left is at a premium so every character I buy from this point forward has to pretty much be perfect.

They probably will be priced super high. I'm out of rewards on top of it, unless I manage to get a good haul from Spook this year. I'm not so sure I'd be willing to sink that much into one PF and a third of another one.

Prime 1 is actually my favorite statue company out there right now. I really love what they are doing with the Arkham Batman game statues. They are just too big and expensive for me to collect.

He's probably out riding his motorcycle 24-7 lol.

I still didn't watch the trailer for it yet lol. My brother was a huge Luke Cage fan back in the 70's, I might watch some of the eps with him.

I guess you're right about Jango. I think I'm just lumping in all of the pieces that have their legs askew on top of some jumbo base in with the captain morgan pieces. I guess thats because when I imagine a character by themselves in my mind they are very rarely ever standing on anything other than a normal flat surface. Thats really why I prefer a lot of the old out of date SW PFs over the new ones. Their new Boba looks great, its one of the best uses of an oversized base I've yet to see, but everytime I see that new Vader I just hate it more and more. I'm really glad I didn't order that thing. If you take a look at the old Gentle Giant Star Wars statues that is pretty much how I wish SS would do all of the bases; simple, flat and black. I think with comic characters the exaggerated bases work much better than with the SW ones. But once they all start doing the same leg up pose it looks ridiculous. If you cancel the SS stuff that will give you more money towards XM stuff though, not to mention help free up funds for the Jim Lee Supes . If you get that I will be highly envious of you.

I think you've gone through enough to where you shouldn't feel the need to put yourself into an overly adventurous situation. I haven't been through anything nearly like you have and I've already been scaling back on my stupidity on the road a lot for more than a decade. I look at the stupid **** I used to do and just shake my head at how dumb I was. There is a part of me that will always probably want a motorcycle someday but I think by now I'd just end up driving it around like an old fart anyways lol.
