Holy crap, those look sooooo good. Are you sure you're still going to pass on Rey? Man I hope they come out looking that good! I find it amusing they have two PFs ready for Rogue One, but they had nothing ready for Episode VII (which I think was the more anticipated movie).

Did they show pictures of the new Venom by chance? I guess I can just go look for myself.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I wonder if LFL lit a fire under their ass to create product if they wanted to keep the license. I was pretty livid that they didn't have a single TFA PF up for preorder on Force Friday last year. But anyways, I really like what I'm seeing with these, but out of the two I actually like Jyn a lot more. I wasn't planning on ordering PFs from the spinoff movies but I really love the Felicity Jones sculpt, I think that chick is so freaking cute! I'm not going to commit to ordering any Rogue One PFs before seeing the movie though. I think the Rey sculpt looks great too, but its going to depend on pricing and how the rest of the piece turns out on whether or not I'll get her and BB-8.

They definitely showed a new Venom and even a new Carnage PF too, which is awesome considering the old ones sell for like a gagillion dollars on eBay.

The Jimmy Johnson Era was the best IMO, and I grew up during the Landry days. I absolutely hate Jerry Jones for what he did to Jimmy Johnson. The Cowboys were just starting their legacy, and could have won more Superbowls if Jerry hadn't let his ego get in the way. I haven't followed them since that day, and all my Cowboys stuff is packed away.

Yeah, I'll be getting both of those.

There's talks of building a big convention center/hotel downtown at the moment. So I did it again, early this morning I ordered the Ahsoka Hot Topic exclusive Pop that came out today .

Do you think it's possible the BB-8 and Rey are sold separately, but they give some sort of deal if you bundle them together? That would be ideal, then you could always sell Rey when they eventually make a version with a lightsaber and keep the BB-8 with the droids. The good thing about Star Wars statues is they seem to at least hold their retail value in the after market. I think I'd avoid the spinoff movies unless I really end up loving one of them.

I saw people talking about the Iron Studios Superman vs. Doomsday and they were making jokes how it would be part plastic and most of it will fall apart once you get it. I guess that Iron Studios Spider-Man was pretty bad quality wise so I definitely wouldn't order that Kylo considering it looks bad already.

I found the Venom, it looks pretty good to me. The XM Venom seems to be a hot seller so I'll never be able to afford that one. I honestly don't know anything about Carnage, don't judge me...

Thats 4 in less than a week. I didn't think it would be this bad this fast lmao. I knew buying 2 at the same time from the start was a bad idea because that made a set, then all I had to do was add another and its a collection, and once it was there there would be no stopping it .

I think it was confirmed on one of the forums that Rey and BB-8 will only be sold individually. I'm sure if you buy both they'll probably give you a little discount like they did if you bought Lobo and Dawg together. I'm definitely going to at least consider them, but I'm going to mull this one over much longer than I did with Jango. I'm definitely not going to buy any SW PF from any of the spinoffs either without at least seeing the movie first. Its way too much money to commit on a random character just because its Star Wars.

Carnage was my absolute favorite Spider-Man villain as a kid, Venom was my second. Basically Eddie Brock was in prison and shared the same cell with a serial killer named Cletus Kasady, and when the alien symbiote returned to Brock to help him break out of prison as Venom it left part of itself behind that bonded with Kasady creating Carnage. I was actually first introduced to the character in a book I read, "Carnage In New York". I remember really loving the book but I can't remember what happens in it because I read it 20 years ago, so don't judge me .

Yeah, I'll probably get both. Depending on what funds are like after the XM Vader trio, Grievous, and Maul.

Haha! Just wear it when your playing a racing game, lol! Yeah, I'm going to get every one they make and all the different smoke tinted and mirrored visors that go with them. I can't wait for them to make a Maul one. I've already messaged them on FB about putting horns for a Maul bucket on there rather than them painting them on.

The facial likenss doesn't look that good from this angle IMO. I'll need to see more pics obviously, but facial likeness is the one department that worries me most when it comes to SS's statues. I don't like the base on BB-8. I don't know what else I would have liked to see instead, but I'm just not really liking how it looks.

I am a member of our local facebook cosplay group, but I've never actually went out and met with anyone on there. Maybe if they do something for the new Star Wars movie I'll join them. I know last year they had a bunch of people at the theater dressed up for opening night.

I googled Milwaukee Comic Con and it sounds like you have one, I couldn't find more information on it though. That's a big city, you have to have something!

I'll have to look more into the Milwaukee Con thing. Its probably something I could check out with some of my geek friends, but a lot of them have moved out of state so its always tricky trying to plan stuff that we can all go to.

I can almost guarantee X-Men Apocalypse will more than likely be $10 or less on Black Friday. Maybe I'll see if I can find some good TV shows on sale that day.

I'm not expecting SS to be able to capture the likeness as well as HT, but I've really gotta love it for the price they'll be charging. I want to see more pics of Jyn too, so far I'm liking that one more than Rey. I'm sure BB-8 is going to plug into the base somehow, or the base will plug into him. The base is okay if you're displaying them together, but I was hoping for something a little more elaborate, kind of like Dawg's base so you could display it nicely by itself. I also wish it had an option so you could attach it directly to Rey's base or take it off and display it with the Droid PFs. With the current setup he's in that little thing shouldn't cost more than $75, I can't wait to see how SS is going to try to explain the $200+ price it will more than likely have. More Rey pics are starting to come in. I'm starting to realize my issue is not necessarily with the likeness but with the expression. There is a pic that shows her face off from the side and it looks really good. But its looking like if you display this piece where she's staring right at you its going to look a little weird. The outfit looks great though, and the pose mimics the original Tatooine Luke PF's pose, but it looks much less awkward then Luke does. I really don't know where I'm leaning on this piece and I haven't even seen the price yet lol. There is a possibility that if I really love the Rey the more I look at her and if SS decides to get super ridiculous on BB-8's pricing I might just get Rey and skip BB-8 altogether. As much as I associate that character with Rey I think I would prefer to display it with the Droids.

That reminds me, I've gotta sock a hundred bucks or so on the side for Black Friday deals. I haven't even made a list of the stuff I want yet, I need to get on that too.

I haven't read that many Spidey comics that I can remember. Most of my memories comes from the 90's cartoon which is one of my favorite cartoons of all-time. I read quite a few of the books that came out back in the 90's too (actual books not comic books ) and those were pretty good. I also bought the audiobook of the Spidey book where the Lizard was the main villain. For some reason I have a fond memory of eating gummy worms while listening to the book. I don't know why I thought of that completely random thing but it just popped in my mind when I thought about it .

Its really stupid and pointless not having the Rey and BB-8 bases connect. Their whole point of making these was to display them together, but BB-8 by himself will look extremely small and pointless on that tiny ass base they came up with for him. I'm waiting on this set, the more I talk about it the more I'm realizing this isn't my ideal Rey statue anyways.

I haven't really thought of anything for Black Friday. I usually just go online and look at the blu-ray deals and pick up a few movies every year. Although maybe I should pass on those and see what kind of Funko Pop deals there are instead!

I can't wait for you to get these helmets! I'm almost as excited for these as much as I would be if you were getting a statue that I didn't have lol. I think the reactions you will get from these will be insanely awesome.

The facial likenss doesn't look that good from this angle IMO. I'll need to see more pics obviously, but facial likeness is the one department that worries me most when it comes to SS's statues. I don't like the base on BB-8. I don't know what else I would have liked to see instead, but I'm just not really liking how it looks.

The tailoring on that outfit is top notch for sure! I like the pose too. I think the face looks like Daisy, but I'm just not overly crazy about the expression when its displayed facing forward. But I really love the look of it from either of the sides.

I've seen more pictures today and it does look good. It just looks a little odd if you look at the face from straight on. People who are actually at the con are saying it looks spot on. I still think I'd wait for final in hand pictures, although that EX is pretty cool.

I think they posed him with the leg up first, then thought "what could we put under it" lol. I'm so glad that none of the SW statues I currently have have the stupid leg up thing. I would cringe to think how ridiculous a bunch of those would look next to each other all posed like that. If these poses continue I'll have to reconsider thinking that statues are better than HTs, because with HTs you don't have to pose a single one of them like that. I hope we see more outrage out of the forums from these poses soon.

I actually sold my Catwoman already, her and Poison Ivy were my two least favorites so Poison Ivy is probably going next. BBTS actually has the XM Ant-Man and Hawkeye on clearance for $599...so if you wait long enough certain XM prices will come down.

Oh thats awesome news! I can't wait to see what they come up with that I can't afford lol. Its good to hear the prices are going down on some of their pieces, maybe the hype is calming down. But I'm sure Batman and Superman will sell out instantly though, so I don't think anyone is going to be seeing a deal with those especially if they stick to their 999 piece limit.
