Ha, so bad that they pulled it off the floor, that's hilarious! I feel like that happened to another company recently, but I can't remember what it was.

You know the Han Solo movie won't bomb unfortunately. All the young people who have no attachment to Harrison Ford as Han will still go. Lots of young kids are way more into TFA than the older movies. Pretty sure my nephew likes TFA and the prequels more than the OT. Special effects man!

Have you tried to sell anything lately? I'm guessing we would take about a $100 hit if we tried to sell our Kylo PFs right now. It's definitely a buyer's market and they all want everything for below retail. The only thing I've managed to sell lately for a profit was my orange lantern power battery, apparently they are hard to find now...who knew?

I just don't get how no one at the company realizes how bad something looks before putting it out on display. But just looking at some of the horrible poses on stuff that's on sale *cough* Heath Ledger Joker PF *cough* its pretty clear the guy who is approving this stuff needs to be let go. That Joker statue is so terrible the EX is still available after its been released and has been shipping for like 5 months now!

I know its going to end up doing just fine. I hear Ron Howard is officially taking over the movie now. Apparently the other 2 directors were canned after clashing with Kathleen Kennedy herself.

Glad you were able to get something out of your Orange Lantern . Its a really rough market out there, but its definitely great if you are a buyer. I think its at a point where you won't break even on anything anymore unless its been sold out for at least a year. But now I even see some older pieces are falling in value too. It would be common sense to think that the statue market is finally bursting but SS still continues to raise prices. I don't know how people are still affording this stuff, if they are selling old stuff to afford the new stuff they will now have to sell 2 items to fund the new one. Maybe even more than 2. I really want to get into collecting figures in the $20 or less range . I think I'm going to make one more purchase and then I'm going to ban myself from the Sideshow website and the forums.

Yeah Sideshow has put out a LOT of questionable poses. The only thing they can get right is Captain Morgan which is probably why they stick with that one, ha. Although XM really dropped the ball on their Elektra pose.

It sucks, I definitely can't sell stuff to fund new stuff anymore! I could sell two of my Muppet replicas for a couple hundred dollars more than I originally paid for them, but I'm having a hard time letting them go, ha. I realized today that I've had that Kermit for nearly 10 years! I bought him in December 2007. I can't believe it's been that long, I'm going to be dead before I knew what happened. That got dark real quick. Moving right along...have you decided which action figure line you're going to jump into? Are you going to open them or keep them in the package?

For SW I was thinking of going with the 6" Black Series, but I realized if I bought 3 or 4 of those a month that would equal the same thing as a Flex Payment on a PF, and you can already see where my mind is going there . Ughh I hate myself! I think I'm going to end up going with the Black Series 3 3/4". Those are still lots of fun and would be similar in size to the PotF figures. For DC I'm going to get into one of the Batman Arkham game series figures from DC Collectibles. I'll probably try to leave the stuff in the package, but I don't know if the little kid in me will be able to resist from opening them.

It's pretty bad that those are the first two things that cross your mind when it comes to Sideshow. But sadly it's pretty true. I mean people refer to their last Vader as opera singer Vader. So bad.

Time flies these days! I mean you're at work all day, you get home and don't really have time to do much before you go to bed then go right back to work. The weeks just fly by now. I was actually thinking of collecting that line! But I was thinking this before I went the P1 route with my 2 favorite JL members. Honestly I've spent so much on those 2 statues, I'm not going to buy a Superman or Batman statue or expensive figure ever again!

I'm just getting really frustrated with statue prices and character selection. I also haven't been too interested in reading comics lately, I'm almost starting to prefer the live versions over comic book characters.

I like HTs, but they are just too small for me. I also don't really like having to play with the thing to pose it. And there is something about polystone that feels expensive. Although if I could have them switch from poly to plastic to save money I'd do it immediately. Poly feels expensive when you handle it, but once its on the shelf no one knows how much it weighs. How many Batmans have Prime 1 made? The answer is not enough! If you would just stop being so stubborn and embrace being a Batman fan look at all the fun you'd be having! But even I would never want a Flashpoint Batman statue. I'm sure P1 will make every single one of those Superman statues, it will probably just be awhile because lets face it Batman sells better because he is better!

I just don't like the freeway traffic when you're going 70 mph! I like the Montana freeways where there's hardly any cars. In fact, I was driving between Billings and Sheridan last month and didn't see a car for almost an hour. That's the way it should be, ha.

I am very intrigued by your newest mystery order. I should be getting another XM statue pretty soon.

I have been pleasantly surprised by the new Planet of the Apes series after that Mark Wahlberg disaster. The original Charlton Heston movie is one of my favorites. The first time I saw it was on cable and I didn't know what I was watching so I was pretty blown away by the whole thing. I liked the second one too, but they got weird after that. I gave up after the third one.

Weight lifting is good for you! You just don't have to get crazy like I do, ha. I'm getting to the point where I may switch over to low weight and high reps like Lou has been doing. I just get so competitive when I get in there.

Yeah, I have no ego when it comes to weight lifting, riding, collecting, etc. Too many egos out there. I lift for me. I ride to have fun. I collect because I love Star Wars.

I like the Wahlberg POTA. Not as much as the newer ones, but I liked it. Never cared for the originals. As great as Heston is, I just couldn't get into it. Favorite Heston movie is Ben-Hur though. The new POTA is just amazing! I'm always rooting for Caesar.

That would be pretty amazing. I don't think I've gone longer than a few minutes anywhere without seeing another car lol.

Ooh! That's exciting! Which character is it? Or do you want to keep it a surprise too? How did you find your XM connection? I can never seem to find these people, but then again I don't have Facebook lol.

I'm one of the few that actually liked the Wahlberg disaster. But I've never been a PotA mega-fan, so that could be why. I saw some of the originals but I can't even remember which ones. I know I saw the first one with Heston for sure. But I don't think I've watched any from the original movie series since I was 6.

I'm so skinny I'd be embarrassed to go to a gym . At this point I'd probably just invest in a Bowflex or something.

Everyone starts somewhere. Anyone who judges another in the gym is there for the wrong reason and doesn't belong in the gym. Always encourage people to exercise whether it's in the gym, track, hiking, anywhere.

You've gotta be right. I just can't get over his collection pics, I mean how much effort would someone have to put into building a collection on top of hoarded items and boxes while letting so much dust get caked on there. I just think this guy isn't all there mentally.

I like the Foo Fighters. Weezer is one of my all-time favorite bands. I used to like Green Day back in the mid 90's but they just keep getting more and more douchey as they get older. A lot of people take music really seriously, like my brother that is obsessed with rock music and metal, and then they try to emulate the rock stars behaviors and drug use all throughout their lives. I just like the music for the music, and try to do my best to not even pay attention to the douchebag behavior of most rock artists, but Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong has said too many dumb things lately that I don't even like the band anymore.

I cave into FOMO all the time. SS doesn't help either when they put up their fake "low stock remaining" thing, or letting an item go to waitlist then putting it back up for preorder days later. I guess with XM its best to secure a piece as early as you can with a 999 ES or less. There never is any way to tell when something of theirs will skyrocket in value.

If I can get myself motivated I'd consider one .

I saw Weezer and Green Day in concert together back in the 90's. Tweezer can frikkin jam! They were so loud! Hole came on after Weezer, and people can say what they want about Courtney, but they rocked! Drew Barrymore came out for a couple mins and danced on stage too. Green Day was insane! BJ pulled a kid up on stage and spit in his mouth. The kid was so happy, lmao. No way man. No way! I like Green Day but no way! Never saw Foo Fighters in concert. Saw Nirvana though, and then there's the time I met Kurt in jail. Haven't been to a concert in decades. Wait, I did go to a Cold Play concert a while back. My middle child wanted to see them for her birthday, so we went as a family. Not really into Cold Play but they did put on a good show. And, Chris came out into the crowd and interacted with fans. Pretty cool.

They must have finally realized no one wants to see a Han Solo standalone movie.

My daughter told me about this the day it happened. Smh! If this is Kennedy and Disney trying to out their 2 cents in on someone else's creation, shame on them. However, if the directors were doing something that didn't fit in universe I guess I can understand. But, it was this reason Lucas did what he did when it came to these movies. No studio interference on his creation. In the end, like it or not, the director should have full control on his vision. Not the studios.

I so hope thats what they're doing! But apparently Han Solo was almost finished filming, and then the directors walked. LFL must have wanted to change something major about the movie at the last minute and it didn't jive with the directors at all.

That's a good plan. You should hold onto that Speeder Bike PF for dear life! That's one of their best ever. Although selling everything and stopping collecting also sounds like a great plan! I could have built such a kickass home theater system instead for the price I've dumped into these things. I like the live versions better myself, simply because I rarely ever read a comic or TPB more than once. I'll watch the movies countless times. That's why I mainly buy movie versions of statues.

I like HTs, but they are just too small for me. I also don't really like having to play with the thing to pose it. And there is something about polystone that feels expensive. Although if I could have them switch from poly to plastic to save money I'd do it immediately. Poly feels expensive when you handle it, but once its on the shelf no one knows how much it weighs. How many Batmans have Prime 1 made? The answer is not enough! If you would just stop being so stubborn and embrace being a Batman fan look at all the fun you'd be having! But even I would never want a Flashpoint Batman statue. I'm sure P1 will make every single one of those Superman statues, it will probably just be awhile because lets face it Batman sells better because he is better!

I like the Wahlberg POTA. Not as much as the newer ones, but I liked it. Never cared for the originals. As great as Heston is, I just couldn't get into it. Favorite Heston movie is Ben-Hur though. The new POTA is just amazing! I'm always rooting for Caesar.

I saw Weezer and Green Day in concert together back in the 90's. Tweezer can frikkin jam! They were so loud! Hole came on after Weezer, and people can say what they want about Courtney, but they rocked! Drew Barrymore came out for a couple mins and danced on stage too. Green Day was insane! BJ pulled a kid up on stage and spit in his mouth. The kid was so happy, lmao. No way man. No way! I like Green Day but no way! Never saw Foo Fighters in concert. Saw Nirvana though, and then there's the time I met Kurt in jail. Haven't been to a concert in decades. Wait, I did go to a Cold Play concert a while back. My middle child wanted to see them for her birthday, so we went as a family. Not really into Cold Play but they did put on a good show. And, Chris came out into the crowd and interacted with fans. Pretty cool.



My daughter told me about this the day it happened. Smh! If this is Kennedy and Disney trying to out their 2 cents in on someone else's creation, shame on them. However, if the directors were doing something that didn't fit in universe I guess I can understand. But, it was this reason Lucas did what he did when it came to these movies. No studio interference on his creation. In the end, like it or not, the director should have full control on his vision. Not the studios.

I've been getting better at not caring what people think of me at the gym. But every now and then I catch people watching me workout so you know everyone is competitive in there. Of course I only know a few of them so I shouldn't care what everyone else thinks!

The original Ben-Hur is a great movie, but it takes about half a day to watch! I watched the entire thing all the way through one afternoon, it drained me, ha.

I'm jealous you saw Green Day and Weezer back in their prime, but more importantly I'm super jealous you got to see Nirvana! And you met Kurt Cobain? You need to tell that story!

I saw Weezer in '05. It was a great concert! I never got to see Green Day, I would have loved to back in the day. I actually really like Coldplay, and I get a lot of **** for it from my friends LOL. But they are way better in concert than they are on their albums. I really need to hear more about your Kurt Cobain jail story .

I can't wait to find out more of what happened to the Han Solo thing. I've got a feeling something will come out now that puts the blame on the directors, I'm already hearing they wanted Han to be so funny he was like Ace Ventura, but in like 5 or 10 years someone else will probably come out and say "yeah that one thing you heard was true, but then there was also this other thing..." and it will probably put the blame on LFL/Kennedy just as much.

You're right, the invincible alien from another planet is much more relatable . Just joking with ya. People always try to sound smart when they talk about Batman, and they talk about how dark and flawed he is, but they are all full of crap. The thing that gets people coming back to Batman is the outfit, the villains, and the Batmobile.
