warner has finally set up their free replacement disc program for the defect in the German audio with the extended cut.it seems that you don't have to send the original disc to get the revised version.they just need a copy of your receipt.the link here is provided by bluray-disc.de:

I think there is a program you can download to moniter the stock count.

All you do is change the number in your basket to say 999 and then it will say it has to adjust the number as there are only "x" in stock. Easy !!

Well as Amz.de have confirmed that they will be refunding me, they cannot replace as we know, I'm gonna crack open the case and try out the discs. I'll report back with my thoughts on AQ & PQ but don't expect any great insight from me. My equipment isn't the most modern.

Got my copy 2 days ago. Don't know what issues there are regarding the soundtrack on the extended cut as i haven't viewed it yet. Not too concerned as i already own the canadian steelbook, plus Amazon.De are showing it as being out of stock, so they can't replace it if it is defective
