You must not have met Wreck yet. ;)

Since it wasnt said by me, (NOR ON THIS SITE) ... then I will only say "that is correct".

Thanks for confirming, hope I didn't misspeak by saying anything.

No, I honestly have not - however it was from his post that lead me to this awesome messageboard.

Wreck's 300 digibook of xage post

I am happy you have not met me yet RobertJoseph (interesting pacman avatar by the way)

If they only made 900 of these it would definitely be sold out by now.

Care to share your benchmark calculation?

As far as I know, in the realm of digital media packaging - its a very very very small market.
Here, this is the ONLY OFFICIAL information about the steelbook.

Official Limited #d Information of the Steelbook

Kinda confusing, given that its a Warner Brothers Exclusive yet that one marketing it was Gentle Giant in Comic Con 2011

Oh I hope you didn't take that the wrong way. I just meant that Wreck is pretty reliable when it comes to any information he provides. I've yet to be steered wrong from anything he says. And thank you about my avatar. I'm quite a big Pacquiao fan.

Since Comic Con site said only 900 qty whats the deal?

Not so sure about the Scanavo employee youre mentioning. (been a while though I talked to them) - back then, the only official word I can rely to is from Rob A. (I dont know if he still manages the North American Sales territory)

If you want to believe it's 900 then believe it was 900. The person who entered that info on the site did not physically count the steelbooks.

:D

900 was probably FOR SALE ... so 900 is probably legit. We at HDN get free blu-ray (plastic amarays) to review and they are made exact same as a retail version. Many execs get free movies and stuff too. So 900 could be a legit # as far as for sale.

By legality & reality wise - those who were given first hand information by Scanovo on print run are not oblige to disclose the details. Hence - I made use "Only Official" phrase to my previous post about it as this was broadcasted to the public with "numbers".

The only Official information with regards to the Steelbook's print run.

And the rest be left the common eye as "speculation" :ohno:

That is correct xage... and while one site said 900, and one member stated at another site it was stated 1,000 left room for confusion. Whether 900 or 1,000 it seems that due to the comic con site saying 900 was sold that it should be looked at as the official # unless a WB rep were to say it's 1,000.

So for now ..... like you say, it's 900. I'll send our WB rep an email perhaps they can confirm ... if not, 900 it is.

Sounds good to me.

when my copy arrives from ebay i will be opening it!! hopefully arrive intact. i always open my steelbooks as i buy them for myself, not for selling on, etc. i believe in getting the most out of my steelbooks, so keeping them sealed isn't for me, although i do bag them which obviously keeps them pristine.:D

I went and asked my friend to try exchange my dented copy. Hopefully I will have more luck with shipping of the new copy.

My friends will probably kill me when I tell them I'm doing the exchange and they have to wait for me to get it sorted and then send along with their stuff but what can I do, this steelie is very special so I better get it mint while I can.

Hey I for one support your decision...besides , if your friend's stuff was damaged they would most likely want it done for them....right?

I would have done the same too... If the friends are upset by that, then tell them next time to get their stuff on their own.... :scat:
