This steelbook definitely remains one of my favorites to this day - it's always been displayed in a acrylic steelbook stand as a featured part of my collection.

2 years ago someone offered to sell this to me for $40 and I just couldn't do it. I just couldn't get passed the G1 sizing. I love the look and it's a great design, but it has to be G2 for me. It would throw off my collection.

I collect G1 dvd steels too so no biggie for me - it really is worth it. So lovely

£65 inc shipping, which I though would be a good price for this one, provided it was sealed, and knowing that one or more discs were loose inside. I took a gamble basically.

You got a bargain there, congrats! To date this is still my favourite steelbook (even with it being G1 sized - which I usually tend to avoid).

Would kill to see this art on a G2 steelbook with just the 2 normal discs and a full gloss finish. I don't think it would harm this release in anyway being a very special 4 disc edition.

This has one of the coolest art ever on steel, shame that it's G1 though as it will look odd on anyone's shelf (esp the OCD ones like myself)...

Here's hoping one of the BIG boys will one day take that kicka$$ artwork and put it on a G2 steel, now that'd be super cool!

Shh don't encourage them. I've already got far too many different versions of this film, I'm not really sure I need any more.
After this, the German 1st release steelbook is my favourite version. I actually have two copies of that one... one open, one sealed.

Lucky dude, I have the first edition but it's open and bought it open. Although it is ocd mint I would love a sealed copy of the first edition but for a while there it was going for well over £50 and I'm not prepared to pay that.

I'm really surprised Zavvi haven't released a new version of this as it would most certainly sell out fast with this art lol

Was originally said to be 900 copies (on the comic con website), but wreck confirmed it was actually 1k here. @mnementh

One of the more costly Steelbooks I've purchased (though Farès gave me a good price! ), but definitely worth every penny.
It's a real beauty and a personal grail.
