Thanks urbeenjammin but I really think it is a dent which is going inwards the steelbook. Will have to wait for 100% confirmation or photos but that guy who bought it for me wouldn't contact WBshop if he wasn't sure.

The thing is that he bought some other stuff for me which is for my other friend and need to have him sent it asap so can't be waiting any longer until WBshop will sort it out. I might keep the dented one.

I'm broke but going to ask anyway, is there anyone who might have a spare dent free copy available for a reasonable price (to be shipped to US address)??? Thank you

Sorry to hear that, that's a shame, this is a beautiful release. :(

why not ask your friend to open it up and inspect it instead of "guessing" it might be a dent underneath the cardboard? since it sounds that you gonna keep the "dented" one anyway, then ask him to open it up. why accept a dented one anyway?

as a collector, i rather buy a dentless steelbook than a dented sealed copy.

Will have to check but my friend is a dedicated collector so I think if he says the dent is there I think its not a glue bulge....I'll wait and see what he says.

Thanks for advice but I would like to be the one opening/unsealing as this is a very special piece. My budget is quite tight so I don't have enough monies to buy another one for $60. Also can't wait for this to be resolved by WBshop as I need the package (which Sucker Punch steelbook is part of) to be sent to me by this Friday because the package contains other stuff which is not for me and those other already waited for me because of this SP steelie. Unemployed at the moment so haven't got enough options (money-wise) to separate the package and have the SP sent to me later.

PS: My friend just messaged me and confirmed that the steelbook is actually dented in. :(

managed to pick up a copy yesterday off EBAY!! paid 75 dollars plus 30 dollars for postage. compared to some of the prices some people are asking for this on EBAY (500 dollars!!!!!!!!) this seems like a pretty good deal. never expected to see it this low, although i knew i was going to have to pay over the odds to be in with a chance of owning this gem!!:scat::D:oohyeah::naughty::p:oohyeah::oohyeah::D:D

(can you tell i'm pleased??)

That's a pretty good price. It looks like that price will be the norm until everyone who wants one has a copy. Then I'm guessing the price will go up again in a year or so.

so i take it that WB shop doesnt ship to the UK?

Why would they release this beautiful steel as a G1? It is the only thing debating if I should get one or not.

Because they could manufacture them in the factory in Ohio. Well, that seems like the most likely reason. ;)

What's the problem with the size? Why does it matter? I'm glad it's G1, marks out it's individualness amongst all the G2s ....

Some people don't like G1. That's just the way it is. I'm not saying it's right either way, it's just how people feel. Of course, I happen to love this release, and it's made me not really care as much as I used to.

Hi folks - please create a trading thread or post your desire to get this title in your trade thread. While an occasional post to request assistance from members here is fine, we'd prefer to keep the posts on these threads about the release or about the movie only.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
