Only 11? I would've expected a lot more.

doesn't matter to me how many copies other collectors own, my copy is worth it's weight in gold to me!!:scat:
some of the prices for this are not too bad on EBAY at the moment. hopefully this will be a good opportunity for buyers outside the US to pick up a copy they would normally not be able to get, as was the case with me.
good luck to anybody EBAYing this one!!:D

Was it more of value now or the satisfaction of just acquiring a want?

Finally received mine. Much to my horror upon opening , found that the steelbook had some scratches and had a huge dent on the back where the cardboard slip covered. Cardboard slip and steelbook looked perfectly fine before opening :(. Looks like it was damaged before it was sealed...wonder if anyone else who ACTUALLY opened theirs see anything similar? At any case, Will need to contact WB bout this :(

Sorry to hear that. My friend helped me out and the same thing happened to him....Cardboard ok but after closer look he felt it was dented in beneath it. He send it back for a replacement. I suggest doing the same and keep your fingers crossed you will receive a better looking 2nd copy (like me ;) )

I do a lot of crazy stuff to my things. I would probably try flushing down the toilet again a steelbook (done that before)

I call bullshit on that one, because if you were successful in this feat it would have caused you one helluva Plumber bill as it wouldnt go through the pipes. :p

Unless of course you knew it wouldnt flush and just wanted to make a funny video with a badly damaged steelie.

I would have to agree, i don't think there is any such thing as a perfect steelbook. I think if you look hard enough you can always find some flaw somewhere.

im still trying to figure out how he was able to remove all the sealed factory wrapping for the 25 steelbooks to see if they were mint and repackaged them so perfectly.

From what I gathered, he re-shrink wrapped them with his own wrap. He stated since the wrap didnt have anything printed on it that he just took the sticker off. That sticker is easy to pull off, so I guess he just opened .. checked, reshrink wrapped and stuck sticker back on.

If you got the time to do that to 25, more power to ya'.

it was about acquiring a steelbook for a film i really like which i thought i may never be able to own, not just about wanting it because it is rare. for example, the john rambo steelbook may be mega rare, but i don't want to own that film, so that steelbook would personally be of no value to me.
the sucker punch steelbook is as valuable to me as it was before i obtained it. value isn't just a material thing, it also works on a personal level:D

Though I don't agree with it. It really doesn't take that long to shrink wrap. When I managed a video store I could do over 75 an hour, including using the heat blower

This one as lost its price now just seen go on ebay for £36.00

Yeah i think prices will take a dip for now. I can see it becoming valuable again though. With such a limited quantity i'm sure they will become hard to get down the line!

My friend who helped me out with this received replacement for my dented copy. The new one seems fine but WBshop will never learn and send it in bubble mailer again. Well, at least I was lucky it arrived ok this time.

Congrats Collector, i'm glad you got it sorted out. It's a beautiful steel, you won't be disappointed!:)
