Seriously this is still my favorite steelbook and second favorite movie in the past 2-3 years. It probably has hit the ceiling in terms of its value mainly because it is a G1 steelbook but darn it, the artwork is superb all across the board.

Yeah, definitely agree on the G1ness being a deterrent for some. Didn't bother me at all because of that artwork.

Now just imagine if Play.com release this title with an identical artwork to this CC exclusive but wait for it, yes in G2, how cool would that be, I'd take 3 of them straight away :p

It is a stunner in terms of looks. Great film too. I've got the extended cut. I just expected with only a release of 900 that it would be worth a lot more even if it is a G1.

Think a minty, sealed one would be but this as a ding on the edge although at that price I wasn't going to grumble :)

This is a stunning Steelbook and would love to own this. I hope Play.com do something similar to this soon.
Got to be one of the best ones I have ever seen.

it is a beauty!!!! it's a shame people are put off by the fact that this is g1, this is one of the most desirable steelbooks available!!!!

You know, it is a very nice steelbook and pictures can't quite capture that. I just couldn't see a G1 in my collection so I sold it. I don't regret it, but yes G1 does annoy me so I don't own a single one now :p

But she is so beautiful and shiny!!

For that I can forgive having a few taller 'ladies' in the collection :p

Mint & sealed are around £110-£130 or thereabouts I believe.

Not anymore. A lot have been around lately, so now they tend to sell around the $100 mark on eBay. If you could accept a small paint chip, it could even go lower than that.

Really? Only seen a few UK based ones and they were in the price bracket I mentioned possibly because not that many made it over the water so the rarity value is still higher.

Two ended last week on eBay.co.uk for £60, but they each had two very minor paint chips. If you look on eBay.com, you should be able to get one mint & sealed for £60 though (~$100).

Nope, missed both of those which is odd seeing as I get on to ebay everyday, oh well.

I never seen a SP SDCC for BIN of £60, if it was available I be snapping them up straight away. I think the value is more than $75 as one person strongly quoted to me :hilarious:

Here you go:

And here's two perfectly sealed & mint ones that sold for $100 & $95 (~60 pounds):

The German First Edition Sucker Punch Steelbook is currently going for more than this one, as it pops up much and much less. Seems like the SDCC one has been massively bought by people who intended to sell them with profit, hence the overload on eBay.

So yeah, I wouldn't consider $75 a bad price when it's a forumdeal ;).
