I think 2000 is the cut off that makes people purchase a steelbook purely based on the print run. Of course lots of people like the movies themselves but these 2000 printrun steels have sold out lightning quick whereas if they were a 4k print run, they would sit in the warehouse and get a price drop to £5-£6 to clear space (i.e. Gremlins and Point Break). 2k inst far from 4k, yet 4k sits around for ages and 2k sells in 2 days. Plus the more limited the better for us collectors of this luxury option of bluray cases. If you missed out you will certainly have a few more chances to order. You just have to be proactive and watch the thread for announcements.

Well, if you're Zavvi and you're sitting on so much SteelBook stock that you're knocking down prices to 4.99, it makes sense for them to think "I know, let's lower the quantity!"

Pity the thought couldn't have been "I know, let's raise the quality!", but what're ya gonna do. If nothing else, these limited numbers surely please scalpers and sealed collectors.

Most collectors do just collect, but unfortunately we have to put up with the scalpers who are just out to make a quick buck!
