speculation only.

It deserves a UK release. It means the "hoggers" of all the other versions will have to sell them cheaper.

I personally believe that most people who HATE re-releases are money grabbers. Opinion :D

In the case if this particular steel I think it's very harsh to accuse people of "hogging". It has been available for a very long time.

If course it is expensive for many to import from Amazon jp and therefore a re-release may well make this art accessible to many but that's a different discussion.

batman begins is selling for up to £300.00. that is a disgrace. if it were available to UK, then the people who own it will be upset they cant rob people anymore.

Take Iron Man Future Shop exclusive for example. It used to sell for £500.00. Now any robber would be lucky to get £100.00 for it. I find it hilarious.

I want to be able to afford these great items!

Fair opinion :p

The reason i would hate a re release of this is because i paid ~£30 for this and if it gets announced to be coming to uk a week later i wasted that extra money which could have gone to moar steellzzz!:hilarious:

Saying that i wouldnt be too bothered as at least i dont have to wait for them (or my blade runner) :D

If all steels were available to all then I think you'd find that this hobby would plunge in terms of popularity. The aspiration and exclusivity would disappear and therefore much if the allure.

Could you point me in the direction of the £100 IM FSs please? I'd love a couple.

totally agree with that reason buddy. There are some steels I bought for a lot of money that are getting a re-release in the UK for half the price.

This is the only downside.

yes. ebay lol.

and as for the aspiration and exclusivity. you will probably find a handful of the more "well off" people would get their hands on rare steelbooks and then would want a fortune from you to buy it from them.

It happens all the time. I think its time the little man got their hands on the cheaper steels.

Just saw TDK finally so glad I got this coming! Really wanna dish out for the BB one right now but should wait for my adrenaline to calm and make an informed decision lol

I agree i find that price sickening. One thing i dont get is why people on ebay always boost up the price on auction so early. Dont they know that means that they will be paying more money. They should all bid at the last couple minutes. Pisses me off.

Lol back on topic guys.....No need to discuss further on the price's regarding batman begins/Iron man (which btw if that guy that claims can get one for £100 mint/sealed...please PM me as I got a bridge I would like to trade you for it.) In all seriousness, this is regarding The Dark Knight Jp steel which has been a pain in the you know what for me to finally secure mint! Lets keep it that way!

Every time I see a new post in this thread I click it only to see more ranting or arguing.

Received a solo shipped copy from Amazon Japan today. Probably the worst packing I've ever seen. Like others have said, it came in a heavy paper/thin cardboard packet, but to their credit they did use a single square of bubble wrap, it slightly protected one side of the steel. Miraculously it arrived in mint condition.

Wow they actually used a little bubble wrap on your copy?? Thats great to hear! I got three different copies and only one arrived mint all with the packaging you spoke of minus the bubble wrap. Enjoy it man its a beautiful steel!

"a little" is the operative phrase in describing how much they used. Literally a small single square of bubble wrap. And yeah, the steel looks magnificent. This one was my 3rd copy.

Well I see that a lot of you really complain about amazon.co.jp packaging, but I can not say anything bad about this, maybe because that all my steelbooks which I ordered from them to this time I always add on "gift-wrap" option, and on the place where you can type "gift message" I inscribed something like this: "Please pack this item safely with air-filled packing pillows or bubble wrap too. Thank you" with hope that someone will read this and better pack up my steelbooks.
I always got them in the a lot of bigger and strong cardboard box and additionally secured. Last time I got them im double-folded bubble wrap bag which was put into material gift bag and then all into big cardboard box (that was the best looking packaging which I ever got from any of Amazons, I was just impressed when I sow that.
So maybe just "gift-wrap" option and simply nice asking for a better package makes a difference, or just I was lucky ;)
