Don't know if someone else has caught this already, but if the artwork on the page is any indication it looks like Best Buy is getting this in the U.S. as well.

Well I guess this one is different than the FS release then?

Unless you mean some players will play only the left eye frames on the 3D disc?

It will be the same. Like I said earlier in the FS thread for this, alienating the 2D version would kill sales for this release. So many 3D discs give you the option of 3D or regular 2D although disc is labelled 3D.

I see that too in fine print. Or may be it's implying to DC/UV copy:confused:

DC is always in 2D therefore highlighting that would be redundant as there is only one delivery method

I'm guessing you're playing the 3D version, but only the left eye (non 3D) frames, which will probably be the same as the 2D version anyway (except with black bars to the side and possible haloing).

And just to confirm, there isn't an actual 2D stream on these, so you are indeed stuck with watching the left eye, which could have some weird lighting around edges... but hey, most people here only care about the steelbook anyways :p

This is ideal for me, I was going to grab the FS version because it was standard size and swap in a 2D disc for the 3D, now that will be even easier (and a little cheaper). Not to mention being able to hand-pick. Very nice.

I don't understand it, I get a Best Buy page with the following text:

"Sorry, the page you requested was not found."

The problem has something to do with the HDN referral redirect that is used when you simply click on the link. I've noticed the problem since I first posted the link.

If you right click on the link, copy the address, and then just paste that into the address bar, it works fine.

Anyone get the bonus email with a bonus reward certificate mine was just for $5 but hey if they still had some of those horror steels I would get them but it looks like they cleared them out for holiday movies.
