That would be better if they done that but Warner brothers gave us a jumbo steel for batman begins and dark knight which was also 5 discs.

yeah i know - this will probaly be a jumbo too now :( ....bigshot suits never got no imagination :(

a shame because i was in CEX recently and was looking at the SAW Gorology collection, which had 6 discs in a regular sized amaray.

In that case it can only be a jumbo. Has it been confirmed as 5 discs? :emb:

It has, unfortunately, on its Amazon UK listing.

I've been wonderin for a while now, but i actually think 4 discs is not the maximum possible for a G2 steelbook - i think the actual maximum is 6 discs - a double tray on the left, a double tray on the right, and a back to back double flipper tray in the center

I hope you're right, and thinking about it, it certainly sounds possible, but it would still require WB to fund the manufacture of a new insert/disc tray for the steelbook. I'm just not sure if they'll consider it cost effective for something that will probably sell well either way.

..especially when they use a mock-up that gives no indication of being a jumbo. The BB/TDK steel is still using that slimline mock-up!

I think they are already 95% of the way there to a 6-disc slim G2 steelbook:

...just needs somebody in the right place within the steelbook world, with a little vision to push it through

Just come up at £34.99 on amazon and 5 discs but I can't see what's any different to the 3 disc zavvi version so I reakon it's a mistake on one of the websites
