So, we have the "Fake" and "Steelbook Price Drop" thread, but we don't yet have the thread where you post listings with "crazy" prices for Steelbooks. If you see any, post them here and have fun debating. As per forum rules, please remain respectful with each other-one person's "high price", could be another's "deal of a lifetime" score. Enjoy! :scat:

Please keep discussion to Ebay and other retailers, not private sellers.

+1 on the ridiculousness. It's the same seller that has Real Steel at $380. He has a lot of awesome steelbooks but all probably well above their asking price.

I bought a copy of batman begins Japan off this eBay seller a few days after it went OOP now they have another one on eBay for double the price I paid two weeks ago :hilarious:

Hahaha.... for me that's kind of the beauty of eBay. I know there's a lot of hate for some of the high prices but if the price is too high then don't buy it. It's the seller who'll lose out.

Occasionally you do pick up some cheaper stuff though. I got a mint, sealed FS Transformers ROTF for just under $80 all because the auction ended at 4am.

Nothing is wrong with ebay. The only thing I get angry is when people sell dented crap knowing its dented and then say it wasn't when they sent it. This is why you have to stick with the sellers you know that are good.

One more thing is nobody is forcing anyone to buy anything. Its a free market that decides the price.
