So, we have the "Fake" and "Steelbook Price Drop" thread, but we don't yet have the thread where you post listings with "crazy" prices for Steelbooks. If you see any, post them here and have fun debating. As per forum rules, please remain respectful with each other-one person's "high price", could be another's "deal of a lifetime" score. Enjoy! :scat:

Please keep discussion to Ebay and other retailers, not private sellers.

What about those? (when you know that they sell 5$ each!) :hilarious:

These better be super pristine with no rips, folds or even smudges on the shrink-wrap, let alone a mint steelbook. But you know what they say, there's a sucker born every second. I know, I was one when I started - paid US$50 for SDCC Sucker Punch when WBshop.com was selling it for US$25 with free shipping.

SDCC goes for 150 to 280 USD now so that pretty much exempts the being a sucker notion. ;)

a guy I meant in real life actually buys steels from Socrates. I LOL'd pretty hard and congratulated him for being a sucker.

I must admit that is a ridiculous price. Socrates had the audacity to say that he dosent even make the money back on his steels. :hilarious::rolleyes:

Does anyone remember that Thor that was sold for £120+ in the UK? lol the seller relisted it, looks like the buyer didnt pay that price :hilarious: or a bad attempt on shill bidding failed :naughty:

I dont get why bidders tend to dig there own graves. If they would stop jacking up the price so early in the auction they could pay alot less.:dunno:
