Collecting steels for your own enjoyment whether its for a movie u like or just like the look of a steelbool is my reason for collecting. Do not care less about value. I like steelbooks for my own personal pleasure and prefer collecting them for that sole reason. Best thing i like about collecting is opening them and putting them up on my shelves...simple as!

Haha. I thought to myself after I typed that post. 'Dude, lighten up!' I guess I can just open up all my beauties and enjoy them regardless of whether they are rare or not because chances are some greedy as company is just gonna release them again anyway!

Amen to that! :hilarious:

Honestly though, I am the same way. I enjoy collecting and do not plan to resale them no matter the value.

what should i do now with my 3x play.com the raid steels :c

I think we need to wait and see how this one turns out first. It may not be exactly the same as the play version in which case the Play steelbook will still be the one to have.

Wtf...

Play needs to copyright their designs!

Any images used on a steelbook or any DVD/Blu-ray cover most likely belong to the distribution company not Play.com. When Play.com makes Steelbook the distributor/film owner offers them a selection of images Play.com can choose. But Play.com does not own the right to the image being used on the Steelbook, thus they do not own any exclusivity beyond what's already offered by the distributor.

I don't think there will be anything to worry about, this Play.com version is superb, I doubt the German one will come close to it.

*happy thoughts* :e
