Looks quite dull and the matte black doesn't do it any favours really. Why have Disney decided to stop doing those awesome glossy finishes and do this instead? :(

Im quite glad i didnt order some of them. I got Rocketeer as i wanted that more than any if them.

I still want to see a decent pic of starship troopers.

Its not so much disney, but its when touchstone distribute steels... i no they are owned by disney, but steels which are actually distributed by the disney brand are pretty descent steels, but touchstone is awful, i mean looking at track records they also distributed the play wave including armageddon and the rock...
Just thought i would let you all no ;)

WFRR is Touchstone, a beauty. Just goes to show what they can do if they put the effort in.

yeah glossy would have been awesome, and given a choice of 2 price brackets (say £14,99 for this standard finish, or £17.99/£19.99 for a glossy premium finish) I would rather pay extra for better.
but, for £14.99 (in truth, £13.74 - thanks to a voucher) its a winner.
inside art, clean back, embossing - ticks 3 out of 4 boxes.
anyone who isn't happy with this wave, go back to your collection/shelf and pick up cars 2 UK, or one of the godawful german bogstandard releases, or one of the US recent warners wave...
this is pretty good compared to a vast majority.
yes, its not perfect, but expectations seem to have gone through the roof recently.
if you want top draw quality, you need to looking at kimchi or blufans, and even then you may have quality control issues.

for me, this is what ive been waiting for.
one of my favourite films in a steelbook case, and a decent effort at that.
just need unbreakable in steel form now to sit next to it.

Those weren't Touchstone they were Buena Vista ;)

In any case, they are just brands and aren't actually separate from Disney. The same geezer(s) probably make the decisions regarding all of these Steelbooks which is why we've seen a decline in quality across all of the Disney titles.

Oh yeh, woops :p I suppose it is just Disney all together then ;)

I hate it when i say something and then look stupid because i didn't read my steels properly :p

Yeh your right, Disney need to get the guy in who designed that, then we could have some real beautiful steels ;)
