Going from what I saw yesterday, I think the picture on the back of the SB, is based on the first poster that you've shown. Play have since taken photo down.

the glow face poster is quite an iconic image from the 1982 film IMHO. It's weird when Universal don't use it for new DVD/BD releases. i do have a soft spot though for the UK quad poster which i posted as well.

Have to say I am not really a fan of that cover at all. It looks like they are trying to make it different to all the other releases but it just looks...... well, crap.
