The disc is a hybrid 2D/3D disc......
a little off topic, but the PS3 can play 3D? On a 3D tv/monitor only, correct?

Yes the ps3 is capable of 3D using HDMI and 3d TV. That's what i use for 3d.

As long as you have the latest firmware updates your PS3 should play a 3D disc movie. You'll also need a 3D capable HDTV/Monitor as well.

Also while watching 3d on ps3, it can only decode DTS -HD and not Dolby True HD, hopefully a firmware update can fix that;-) also OT I'm still waiting on my copy

Well, the steel is really cool and everything...but...what an stupid movie,i watched it last night. it's just bad...so bye bye steel!
