Those look fantastic. I wonder what type of hip articulation that Daryl has? Doesn't look like the normal ball joints that all the other figures have.

I was wondering the same thing.
Let's hope he doesn't look awkward standing.

Also, I was thinking about its hands. I really wish a pair of extra hands that could hold the crossbow properly.

Description of the Glenn figure:

"This action-figure comes with approximately 22 points of articulation, handgun with leg holster, knife with hip sheath, broken bloody pipe and alternate head with bloodied face."

I really hope this doesn't have the same problem the series 4 Governor figure did.

Series 5 figures do look amazing! Glen's armor maches the S4 zombies perfectly I love it. The Maggie figure is BOSS, buying at least 2,
BUT WHY THE HELL DID THEY CHANGE HIS MOTORCYCLE???
I'm sorry for shouting, but Meryl's SS bike is iconic. Are we really changing an action figure because of a nazi reference??!

Darkhuman, I do think this is the case. Like what happened to Carl's figure (no handgun).
Even so, I really liked all the figures. Tyreese and Meg have great sculpture. I like Glenn's outcome, but something is kinda off with his face (at least at this particular picture). I said the same about the governor and ended having a good surprise when took it in my own hands.
Only issue on 4th series, imo, was Carl not having arm or wrist swivel. Now I hope Glen and Tyreese don't share this issue seeing that they have similar sculpture.

The Carl figure I have has a swivel right below the elbow joint on both arms.

My problem with series 4 was the Governor figure's neck joint. Had 3 of them where the head snapped clean off. That's my main concern with the Glenn figure in series 5, hopefully they've figured out how to properly do interchangeable heads.

wow...a lot of chatter on here tonight. I will try to answer some of your questions.....

hmmm.....i didn't realize EE was breaking our new photos..... these are legit pics.

nope. He's got new double-hinged hips for awesome articulation! looks bad-ads standing too. Arms are super articulated so he can hold his crossbow properly or the handlebars. :scat:

Wow they look great, best yet I think, I hope there are enough Daryl's to go round this time- that's gonna fly off the shelves! Probably my least favourite zombies to date though, meh I'll still buy them.

but wait to judge until you shine light up through his feet! He will glow like hot embers!

The only thing different on the bike is the removal of the SS symbol. The model of the bike is an exact replica of Merle's/Daryl's bike from season 4. AMC would not allow us to use the symbol. Their call, not ours (same with Carl's gun not coming with the figure.)

Actually I was talking about something like this:

It would help make him more natural while posing, imo.

I didn't had problems with Governor's head, I heated it up with an hair dryer.

unfortunately, Carl's wrist was too small to incorporate the ball joint wrist. we made the call of just using a hinge to keep any breaking to a minimum.

when trying to swap heads, make sure to pull strait up from the body to pop it off. Do not try to pop off the head by pressing the head sideways or forward or back. this will most likely break the dumbbell. a little bit of heat (hairdryer) will help, but be careful. if it gets too hot, you can melt the plastic of the figure as well as weaken the dumbbell. if you feel the fit is too tight, you can sand the nubs from the ball a little until it's just right. since these are cast in a flexible PVC, the tolerances can be difficult to keep at the factory.

if anyone needs replacements, just PM me.
