The comic book figures (especially black & white) are much nicer packages and figures IMO

I got my first Comic fig (Negan) in the mail last night...and see what you are talking about. The size of the packaging looks great and the art on the card and sticker looks awesome.

The Negan figure himself is really great - look just like he stepped off the pages of WD. McF's sculpting continually blows my mind.

BTW - I was going to buy Negan on Ebay for $40 upward including shipping...and then thought to check Skybound. They still have the color and b&w figures in stock for $25. So head there if you want to pick up a Negan. Shipping was quick and he was well-packed. I am not a MOC collector usually but the card is in pristine condition for those who do.

Yeah I got b&w Negan on release day. They just look classier. I love the TV series but they always seem to kill off my favourites :( lol

Hey spawnshop. Any chance the gov v2 head fits on the v1 and vice versa? Also any chance you can get a packaging variant for either the gov v2 or Hershel where the fig comes with the heads swapped?? I'd track those down.

Wait is the alternate governor head the same sculpt as the v1 head??

We've designed hte Gov2 head to have the same fitting as the first, so in theory, the heads should be swappable - but it depends on how/if the factory decides to change it - but odds are "yes.
As of now, there are some plans to release some different headswapped versions of some figures (can't tell you which tho ;) ). The pattern recently is to release these types of figures for Walgreens or similar accounts. The real reason behind it is that they have an earlier re-set for their shelf stock, and that doesn't leave us time to sculpt entirely new figures - thus the Shane 2 or Rick.

Yep, the alt gov2 head is the eyepatch one from the first. The new head is the bandaged head from the zombie pit-fight scene.

Cool news!

It'd be neat to see a comic shop (or Walgreens or whoever) exclusive wave (or individual releases) of slight retools of figures that wouldn't make the main line.

...like a Shane head on a repainted Merle body, Andrea with her hair down/repainted body. Maybe a new Lori head on a Carol body, T-Dog head on a repainted Tyreese body, Dale head on a repainted body, etc? Even cooler if some of the bodies swapped parts so they looked more unique (T-Dog head on Glenn torso/Governor legs, etc.).

But yeah - even if it was just re-do's of some of the dead characters like Shane/Andrea/Governor, I'd be way into it.

Series 6 looks like the best yet, hope the final products turn out as well, the zombie looks great, I think I asked for that same zombie on here some time ago, I love how you've realised it- very cool, and I love that we're getting Hershel:) 7 figures in total with Shane and the new Governor- that's a big series, I'm running out of space (though I probably won't get Shane, sorry Spawn). I would love a Prison attack Governor in his black coat with eyepatch and machine gun, but there's something cool about this new one too.

I recently got some series 5's and Daryl with the bike, really impressed with the bike!

Darkhuman- I opened up my Governor and swaped the heads over, the cool thing about this newer packaging is you can open them up easily and re-seal them, when I get time I'll get Maggie and re-paint her, maybe re-sculpt the hair, I did see one that looked pretty good, all of them since haven't been great though. Anyone know if Zombie Merle is missing those fingers?

Haven't been on here in a while so probably haven't mentioned Noodlechow's photos are great, your Dale sculpt is awesome, (we still need Dale and that little girl zombie from S1 ep 1), and the new comic series look so cool, can't wait!

Seriously, Glenn with hat. Removable or fixed would be stellar. :D Or like a TV Riot Gear Glenn that also includes a hat head for the previous wave's figure. Especially for this line, I kinda dig the figures that come with parts of other ones like Tyreese technically came with Carl's gun or Penny coming with the Terry head.

Thanks dude! Hoping we somehow get a real Dale mixed in with one of the newer waves with the disgusted expression he gave Shane in the woods.

Hey spawnshop - I'm a MOC collector but a friend of mine was curious about Shane's hat on the flashback figure. It's not removable, right? I assumed it was part of the sculpt but he's hoping it can be remoeable.

So now series 6 has an s2 RV zombie & S3 Michonne w fish tank & 2 zombie heads. I assume her pets.

Is RV just a repaint? & is Michonne any different from the S3 fig at all?

I just looked these up, will get Michonne if she's in the orange top, or maybe just buy and re-paint her anyway (not touching the sealed one I have now her value went up), the heads in the tank is a cool addition (hope the new Governor comes with one aswell), would love to see her necklace sculpted this time around though- like the one Tyreese has.

Any hope for a Bicycle Girl re-release without the jeans, and maybe a bike? I'd get that for sure!

Whoa. Looks great... and I love the add elbow articulation it looks like we'll be getting. I think we'll be very happy with this one, spawnshop!

And this is just the digital render - the final physical model looks tons better! :scat:
It's like the 10" Daryl - No crazy articulation, but rather, interchangeable parts. There will be many ways to display this one. :D

Spawnshop, different sites show June & July as the comic s3 & shane v.2 release dates. Any clue which is closer?? Also is the 10" daryl EE shows for preorder. Is that a rerelease, or different from the first one in anyway? Thanks!
