This Fall The Walking Dead comes to the toy store with McFarlane Toys action figures of Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Zombie Biter and Zombie Walker. Available for purchase November 2011.

@spawnshop will know better than I do, but my understanding is that the Skybound exclusives are decided by Kirkman. McF produces them, but Skybound does the character selection.

So far Skybound has stuck with Comic/Telltale, and I would guess that would hold true based on licensing agreements (AMC holds the TV merch license).

The 7in figures are up for preorder @$17.99 each and expected to be available in July and I'm not buying a single one.

McFarlane is not going to care how much we complain until the 7 inch figures don't sell. Regardless of what happens this has been a disaster. I don't even want to give them money if they do bring back the 5' line now since they're been acting like such smug pricks. They could at least admit that it was a ****** thing for them to do. When you're releasing figures of small niche characters like Beth and T-Dogg you're putting out the impression that the line is doing really well and isn't going anywhere for a while. It's a pretty ****** thing to pull the rug out from under fans who have been collecting since day one when so many iconic characters were coming up.

I guess the prices for each figure would be the same as the Sky Bound exclusives comic figures around $30?

While I hate Skybound exclusives, as it costs like $130 to get 3 shipped to the UK, I would be more than happy to pay that for continued 5 inch figures as separate exclusives/Collector Clubs to the Comic series

I don't need another Daryl or Michonne if I'm gonna be spending $20-$30 per figure. Negan, Dwight & Jesus are absolute musts; and we need some actual ICONIC Walkers without any gimmicks.

Kind of lame if AMC won't allow Teddy Bear Girl to be made by McFarlane but Funko did a Pop & Mini of her. Anyway, I agree with Real Scooby here mostly.

I think the box set idea that @Themadpatter described sounds like a really good idea and a great way to keep the line going. They could do it on a subscription service so that fans who still want to buy these figures can do so. I think priority needs to be given to the main characters that haven't been made yet such as Sasha, Rosita, Gabriel, Tara etc.

Just picked up the new series in Australia, really happy with the way Beth and T turned out, they're not quite perfect, but just really glad to get them. Beth looks much better in person than in the pictures I had seen and I think the figure really captures her look. Likewise, I've always had a soft spot for T-Dogg and this is the definitive figure of him, with great character specific accessories.
Just a couple of minor gripes, I can't get Beth to hold the handgun and T-Dogg's eyes are looking away to the right - nothing I can't live with though.

In terms of iconic walkers, my list would be much the same, with the addition of:

The soldier zombie from the tank or the RPG soldier zombie
The forest zombie from season 6 episode 6 (the one that goes after Darryl)
A re-release of the well walker - can't get this guy anywhere!

Still hoping that McFarlane has reconsidered and going in for a series 10 and I'm feeling indulgent so here is my wish list:

Shane - alternative heads
Season 1 Glenn with backpack and cap
New Maggie (I really want this because Maggie's face on the current figure is terrible)
New Carol - in the Wolfs outfit would be good but would like an alternative (normal) head
Rick in Sherriff outfit (with the detail and articulation of the recent figures)
Rosita in her current season 6 look (just please not her debut look with the ridiculous shorts and bare midriff)
Abraham (despite the great face on the current figure, I find his arms and shoulders undersized)
Negan
Jesus
Dwight

Willing to pay a premium to see any of these released (although we are already paying $34 a figure here in Oz).

I'd love a Collector's Club and would be happy to pay $25, similar to Skybound, for that level of quality. Their comic figures are gorgeous and the paint apps are usually stellar. Like shanerd shared, I wouldn't spend that money on previously released characters though. It would need to be new folks like Jesus, Rosita, Aaron, Negan, Tara, Sasha,Dwight, Jessie, Lori, etc.

I think the only characters I'd feel comfortable about buying reissues of would be:
*Maggie (as her figure's paint apps just didn't turn out too well, unfortunately)
*Shane (I do not display his previous releases as they are out of scale, and I'm just not a fan)
*Wolf Carol (she's just kind of too crazy/ridiculous to pass up)

For ICONIC Walkers, I think everyone's covered the biggies. To me it's the Walkers we never forget. The ones that had left a footprint on the plot of the show.

What's the deal with Emerald City Comic-Con receiving an A New Beginning Rick Grimes exclusive figure? I don't mean to be so blunt, but this literally just came out of nowhere! (This isn't my picture, by the way. I'm just using it for reference).
