Went along to the HMV at Bluewater (Kent) today to pre order. All they did was take my name and phone number, said they didn't what a deposit. There would only be getting 200 copies.

He couldn't confirm how many were actually being released, but said due to pre-orders being placed some stores will have very few out on display. My local store in Solihull is getting 40 of them, 27 are now already sold!

Extended cut available in the steelbook in most European countries. So I see no reason not to expect it in uk version.

That sounds like it going to be a limited run then. HMV currently have 133 open UK stores so 40 at each store would be 5320 steelbooks (less if some stores aren't getting any!) - not many for this kind of film.

Could be a 6K print run? I'm guessing stores in Ireland will get some copies also?
