How do you determine that? The prices of Steels like Roger Rabbit and Aladdin which have been out much longer are still around $60-70 dollars and those are classic films. This is not that great of a flick and yet is going for $80+ only being out 2 months. How does that make sense?
In your opinion of course.....
I loved this film, very British humour and the steelbook looks great (just a shame so many had damage)
Im sure theres films you love that others dont like and think arent worth anything so whats the point?

Another reason why people are driving price up is because it's glossy and the artwork is amazing.
Look at Rambo. Movie sucks balls. Steelbook is the Grand Daddy of them all in terms of grail status because the artwork is amazing and is rare.
I thought Iron Man was uninspired and dull, and even those who do like it know it's no work of art or anything and it goes for over £50 on eBay.
I can't deny the steelbook looks nice, but still, not for that price.
Seriously? What world do you live in where people think the iron man steelbook is dull...

Picked this up for £21, they had one left in HMV Hastings. Gonna give it a watch tonight and probably sell it on if its shite.

I was actually born in North Hampton.
I love British humor. Fawlty Towers, Are You Being Served, Only Fools & Horses were some of my favorite childhood shows growing up and still are to this day.
I thought Hot Fuzz was fantastic and the best of the bunch.
Hot Fuzz 10/10
Shaun of the Dead 7/10
Worlds End 6.5/10
But I see the point Robert made about Supply & Demand. I guess there were just not that many copies of this made. I guess it's the hardcore Cornero fans paying the big bucks for this release. My limit on any steelbook is $50. Havn't broken it yet.![]()
you say that like its a bad thing,i prefer hot fuzz over shaun tooYou liked Hot Fuzz more than SotD and Worlds End. Of the three I rate Shaun at the top but I like this movie more than Hot Fuzz
There were parts of WE that were a bit long but overall I liked it and the last scene was great.
I haven't opened the steel yet. I was able to get a digital copy so been keeping it closed in case there is a reel heros releases one
you say that like its a bad thing,i prefer hot fuzz over shaun tooall 3 are awesome IMHO
Same here. I think Hot Fuzz is the best homage to the genre out of the 3 films but they're all good movies.
I've decided I really need this and am going to take the plunge. It's the only Edgar Wright flick I don't own yet and it's a damn nice looking Steelbook.
The thing is, reading all the horror stories about defects here has me just a tiny bit anxious. So, what's the worst kind of damage/defect I can possibly expect once I crack the shrink-wrap open?
Why dont you just buy an open copy?
