Hi pokjak290,

We haven't made a decision on limiting the number of copies allowed for purchase per account.

We have considered limiting the purchase up to 3 copies per account. But, again, we have not made the final decision.

We'll update our Facebook Page when we figure this out.

Thanks,
Hyunhu from Plain Archive

An nyoung ha seh yo Hyunhu,

Translated: Hello ;)

It's none of my business but a fair limit would be 2 copies per title. Just to make sure there is more chance that the steelbooks go to steelbook-enthousiasts and not scalpers.

Just my two cents and keep up the good work! Everyone here is excited about Plain Archive

Oh, and if you could.... please buy the rights to DRIVE from KD, thank you :hilarious:

Yes agreed, 2 or 3 steelbooks maximum per person should do it IMO.

I hope ONE copy each version ( quarter slip & full slip ) per account... Pleaseee... :p

Hi all,

I need to correct my previous message.

When I said we're considering limiting to three copies per account, that was meant for our Korean customers residing in Korea. This is because 3rd party Korean online stores limit purchase up to three copies per account.

For our international customers like you guys, we have NOT made a decision yet on how many copies an account can purchase.

I hope this clears everything up.

Thanks,
Hyunhu from Plain Archive

I always buy 3 copies each edition if it's superb. 1st for watching, 2nd for collecting(not open!) and 3rd for gift(or trade sometimes).

So I want that if they set order limit, it should be 3 at least in my case.

I'm sorry. Snowpiercer's Korean publisher is CJ Entertainment. So, Plain Archive's can't make it. CJ Entertainment didn't make steelbook yet. Maybe, It will be release normal bluray or digipack.

Aww. I didn't know rights to sell films work that way. Bummer. I thought as long as stores buy the right from publisher, they can do anything. Obviously I'm wrong. I do hope Korea comes up with a great Steelbook for Snowpiercer and save us from Harvey Weinstein's cut.

As for limits, 2 copies of each version at most, I'd say.

Hi Mr. Hyunhu and welcome to HDN :) and I have only one question (don't know it's been asked or not, sorry if it's already been) which concerns me more than anything else...

How are you going to ship these steelbooks? with cardboard box with bubble wrapping?

thank you very much in advance :)

I vote that you guys limit the number of purchases first and see how sales go, just so everyone who wants a copy doesn't have to go through scalpers on eBay.

Anyway, just wanted to say that I've dealt with these guys via email a few times and they were a pleasure to deal with. It's very rare these days that a company goes the whole nine yards. Not only is there a massive effort on the products, but these guys actually appreciate the customers! A company that I definitely want to see do well and will continue to support.

As this is less than the duty limit, us UK members will only have to pay VAT on these at customs which totals at £5.61, if customs are feeling nice they will just waive this as its such a small amount, but if they are really up tight then it will cost you £5.61 VAT plus an £8 royal mail handling fee totalling at £13.61(ish)...

So, if they feel nice then hopefully no import charges, but if they are on the ball due to a lot of these entering the country then this will cost neer £14 for customs to release... Hope that helps some of you ;)

Think I'll get in the GB for this one and see whether people get stung with customs in time for the next release.

Question about the delivery rates and methods mentioned; will the economy method of small packet be as it sounds (i.e Jiffy bag-esq) and the standard method of air parcel be similar to how the picture from PA looks? Or will they arrive in the same packaging from the picture but just at vastly different times?

Working on the basis of the prices and customs quoted a full slip order to the UK at $35.99 plus the $20 delivery would equate to about 34 quid. If you did get stung with customs charges that would be about £48. It's a sizeable amount but still very tempting. No customs would be nice.
