Thanks to a crappy cheap diet of Fray Bentos pies and Pot Noodles, I've managed to acquire a pretty cool movie collection. I've never really shown it off before so there's not many people outside of my family who've seen it. Like others have pointed out, i felt like back in the days when you are in a video store Thanks for the amazing tour. Appreciate the organization. The time and money that must have gone into this!!! WOW!

And you say you havent shown it to many people!!? I would actually pay to get a tour in person! (are you in Canada? )
I'm happy to welcome a true collector to this site I think it's safe to say that you'll be a legend here

Nice! So well put together. Is there a method? (Groupings, Alphabetical? Do you separate steels from Blu ray from DVD?)
It would be interesting to tally the run times of everything in your collection to see how long it would take to watch everything!

Thanks mate. Glad you liked it. Yeah, this is just one room. It's the basement of my house. I think it used to be a small separate flat or something like that because it has its own kitchen and bathroom. It's ideal for my collection. One day I'd love to convert a garage and have that as a separate room just for Horror movies. I'd love to have one of those entrances with beads hanging down like those old seedy porn rooms in the back of video rental shops, but just for horror. That would be cool. @AlienKing mate, thanks for the awesome feedback. Glad you enjoyed the pics. It's great to be able to show it off to a group of passionate collectors like yourselves and get appreciation for it. I just wish I'd joined up sooner! You guys and gals on the HDN forums have helped me find loads of limited editions I didn't know were coming out so I thank you all for that!

what a collection! always wanted that Nebuchadenezzer Matrix package. nice to see i'm not the only person with the Ultimate Casino edition James Bond set. damn heavy, though innit?

plus, anyone with both a Wallace & Gromit collection and the Masters of Horror volumes is alright by me. again, all i can say is:

Thanks @steelmybeatingheart! Mate, you're right - that Bond set is super heavy. There's been some awesome complete Bond collections over the years. I love the briefcase set but I think our Casino collection trumps it for quality.

Keep it clean? I don't really. I'm letting it gather dust naturally so in 50 years or so it'll look like Hanger 51 from Indiana Jones.

@C.C. 95 , yeah, space is becoming an issue but there's a garage opposite so the plan is to eventually convert that to expand the space. Before we bought this house, the biggest room in our rental was the master bedroom and my missus let me have that room for the collection. She's a keeper. Even as a kid when I only had a handful of VHS tapes I'd enjoy displaying them and have some covers facing forwards like a shop. I'm 34 now and it's just something I've done ever since. I'd love to see your collection/bookcases if you fancy showing it off? I've just seen @GI_SnakeEyes collection and it blew me away. So much cool stuff there. Regarding the tally. At last count it was around 19,300 roughly all up but that was counted maybe 2 years ago.
