This is such good work by Zavvi, not only as a re release but also by making the HMV. Version worth absolute zilch because the art on this is far superior. What a great job by Zavvi, definitely my fav retailer of the decade. Brilliant prices too. How can this be beaten, great steels, great prices and everyone's happy.

He's taking the piss, maybe he thinks posting the most obviously sarcastic comments ever is funny?

Are you employed by zavvi or you think zavvi will give you their steels at the prices they should be released at if you keep posting such drivel?

Please can you stop gushing over Zavvi every time you comment? You really look like you're just some Zavvi employee who has been sent here to praise them constantly and it's really obvious. It's fine if you like it, but you're way over the top now.

Hi Blumark, why is it you like the artwork to the HMV version? Have you been lucky enough to own a copy of the HMV version?

Zavvi version seems a bit cluttered to me, hence why in this case simplicity will always win ;)

Also were you a collector around the Play.com era? As a lot here were hence the hostility with your comments... after all Zavvi haven't had the smoothest relationship with collectors so far ;) Things will hopefully keep improving.

Anyway back to Thor Zavvi... i'd be interested to know how many are buying for the sake of buying for their sealed Avengers collection ;)

Can we please stop pretending that his comments are serious?

On topic: I definitely won't be buying this. My rule is one Steelbook per film, I'm not going to open multiples of the same titles. I pick the best one and go for that, if it's pricey and I don't think it's worth it, I will settle for something else a little cheaper.

I'm all for a few jokes here and there, but he's a constant one-note joke!

On topic, while I understand not just reprinting the HMV steels, it would have been nice if they could have used different artwork rather than the amarays for this and Cap. I try to avoid steelbooks that just use the amaray art because they don't feel as special to me. There were some really great mockups out there that used official art so it's even more of a shame to be able to see what could have been compared to what we're actually being offered.

Easiest pass for me in a long time, dont get me wrong its an OK steel, and if this was the only one available Id buy it, but I think the HMV one is far better of the 2. Without the floating heads the front cover would be awesome, I think the inner art is better than the HMV one, but the back is terrible

Plus the fact the HMV one only cost me a couple of pounds more, and is a triple play edition, fair enough it now sells for more on the secondary market but looking at RRP the HMV one is a far far better steelbook both in artwork and value, but I suppose like the Play.com Iron Man steels it offers an opportunity for those who dont have the original releases to at least get a phase 1 collection together for a reasonable price...

The front is ok. But back inside are poopy. No idea why anyone would prefer this over the HMV one? Maybe just because the HMV is pricey, and this one is within there price range.
