I think it's just the way the light hits it. Are there any steelbooks that have embossing without a debossed border?

Plenty of steels that have a debossed title.

You can have debossing without embossing, but not the other way round.

as for Thor 2 ... I only report what ive been told. Debossed title treatment.

Well THS on BR.com has it physically in his hands and confirms it is not debossed!

Honestly I don't think he knows what that means.

Hmm, The Wrestler from the Alliance Canadian wave has a raised title, but isn't technically embossed.

The Fighter from CA is the same, but its just a really unique finish on the title only found on a few steels which makes that stick out

There is still hope for FS i guess as they confirmed debossed title whereas im not sure that BB did

There is definitely debossing going on.You just need a trained artistic eye like mine...lol
Two points:first,the top left hand edge of the letter "R" in THOR clearly indicates an indentation on the surface.Second,the very last small letter "D" in WORLD,again clearly shows an impression on the surface.So its all good

THE photographer of the steelbook just confirmed to me what i posted that there is debossing! It is now confirmed 100%
He doubled checked it after seeing my post on the br forum...
