not all of the stores have that setup, the one on 44th and 5th ave did not

also i wouldnt be surprised if some of the instore pickup orders being placed right now will not be able to be fullfilled, for example its showing available at the 44th and 5th ave store but i know for a fact they are OOS, unless they kept stock in the back.

Your best bet is to go to the store yourself, by the time the BBY employee gets around to picking up your steel from the rack they will likely be gone IMO

In Austin, Texas here, went to the two closest stores that were open at 9AM...each had a Thor stand out on the floor with around 15 copies of the steelbook total. That's not to say there's not more in the back. I went ahead & bought 2...it's rare I do that, but wanted an extra just in case.

Yeah my store had about 15-20 as well. The scalpers swarmed the stand immediately once the store opened. Luckily I was able to snag a good-looking one (upon careful inspection, a few of them had some scratches and spine slashes). Everyone get theirs soon because this is going to sell out very quickly.

My town seems to always have steel books, but the cashier told me that when I got mine (10:10), they had already sold 7 copies. They only had them in the stand at my store as well.

looks like my store is the store to go for steel books. i didn't see any scalpers. and there was plenty when i left, a good dozen still there between 2 stands near the registers. so i'll be going there from now on to get my steel books yay!
