Hi All, I've renamed this thread, to allow anyone to post "fake" or "suspect" retailer or Ebay listings, so anyone can discuss/be warned. It allows traders to protect each other/discuss various listings that may or may not be authentic, officially supported Steelbook releases. -Digitalbabe.

Hi guys, was hoping someone could confirm for me if the below Iron Man 2 is the real deal or if I've hooked a fake. Main concern is the stickers as most versions I've seen have a slip cover on the front in the relative language - this one doesn't and the sticker appears to be Thai and wasn't sure they'd released one there...


I bought the exact same one. Looks legit to me, but it's good to hear what others think. It was listed as "Asian" release

They are fake.

They all look fake to me-someone patching these together. Not official releases-these 'boxes' from China with fake looking blu-ray logos at the top pop up periodically, but I don't think these are genuine releases.

no they are both real tho if your buying i would ask for pics without the bubblewrap they could have some scratches

The first pic you posted with the wanted overlaying on top of rambo had a dvd log0 on the bottom corner of Rambo. WHere is that photo again?

Taking pics of the SteelBook inside the bubble wrap just proves he's trying to hide something. I mean nobody does that unless there hiding something. The bubble wrap is insignificant so long as you mention in your add that bubble wrap is how it will be sent in.

Why is he holding the bottom so tightly. Does it have a false bottom like it's a sleeve or something. Please use PayPal if you do go through eBay as you, the buyer are protected. They have a pretty good buyer protection program so long as you don't cancel through your CC company and let PayPal work it's claim. They have saved my ass on several occasions.
