I recently signed up on GB for Wreck it Ralph blufans exclusive steelie and it cost me $65 bucks. I imagine UP will be in the same price range.

They are expensive forsure.

You just paid for item and shipping to hub

Then you pay import fee and shipping cost

It would be almost 70$ or something more depends on hub location

In two minds about both this and The Korean Monsters, Inc. lovely looking Steels, but I already have the FS Jumbo's of both movies, all slimmed down with 3D discs inside. Would have definitely bit the bullet had they been embossed/debossed. Just feel my funds would be better spent elsewhere.

My point is.. in comparison to Futureshop/ BB releases of Disney wave when they came out here steels could be had for $30 dollars retail. Even if you tack on $10 for shipping the cost is still HALF the price of what Blufans charges at $70.

Its too expensive for a single item. (At least for me.. I'm not well off or anything)

I think it has been said before that these blufans releases are priced at $35-$40 range. The extra $$ is a result of unseen expenses such as insurance, customs fees, returns for damaged copies, group buy fees and shipping to the hubs, supply costs for such a huge GB plus obviously one would assume something for the contact that helps make these available to us.

Each GB I have joined, the SB has cost $50-$60 including shipping to my hub. Not bad at all. Getting a lenticular from Germany all costs included is about $55 via GB. The cost seems to be fair. Adding Canadian shipping costs I guess can make that figure go higher. 1 SB shipped in the US is typically under $5 from my experience with tracking.

Very expensive but deserved it ;)

because less print run and more gift like lenticular & numbered & small gift like sticker book

if you live in china, you just have to pay less 50$ to get one copy including free shipping to China

Shipping from Asia is not cheap. Either way you look at it one will end up around the GB price after shipping. Let's not make it look like it will be so much cheaper to get it individually. Shipping from Korea is now $10+ for a single steel. I am sure some member from China can let us know how much it costs to send a single steel from there. From the few trade threads here $20 seems to be the lowest. Not sure if this is the cheapest though

I would also look at the fact of shipping from Japan. Even Amazon charges $20 to ship one steel because they only use expedited. It may be the same in China.

even if it was 20$ itd be 55$ in total instead of 75$ .. (i might be wrong here but those are sold for 35$ @ china, right?)

just because this steels are more special (at least to most here), it doesnt mean that the whole process cant be improved.. and international shipping without taking an intermediate step through hubs would definitely be an improvement worth considering

I wonder where you getting the $35 price from? Please don't misinform members.
Up is not yet in pre order stage at Blufans . But I can tell you now that even in China, they will buy the release in around $50 range.
