So I read. I'm glad they're doing well that Disney can't buy them out. The Disney monopoly is actually pretty tiring. Spiderman will be fine either way.

It’s not that he will be fine either way though. It’s the 5 films before (civil war, last two avengers and his own 2 films) of development that will go nowhere. Just stopped like it never happened.

Even things like you won’t see the avengers tower in New York. Ok no biggie that one but still stupid.

Literally, the next film will lead on from far from home but like nothing before happened. Lol it’s going to be so stupid and strange

My black box just cleared customs and will be here Saturday! Pics so far look great, my first Blufans box set, can’t wait!
Hi what site do you use to track as mine just comes up doesent even recognize the tracking number still mine will be getting delivered to the uk.

Just got my black box. Strange thing is the shipping box tape was cut to the point the box wasn't sealed shut. The OC itself was sealed and fine. Maybe customs opened it? But they didn't mark it as such.

Tracking still shows not recognized so that was pointless as my black 1 click turned up today in the uk via royal mail :) so it was a good surprise my first blu fans and was my 1st group buy here and it looks amazing :) thanks for the group buy @Wreck
Was also packaged perfect enclosed in block foam and sturdy box.20190831_162608.jpg20190831_162545.jpg20190831_162532.jpg

well if they want to be creative they can... access to all characters from the history of spider man? That's a TON! Or create new ones.... I think the weird thing really is how loose is the contract with Sony and Marvel. I mean Sony really got life time spidey rights for film? Can they not add new characters, or only ones previously in spidey comic lore.

Tbf I have no idea. I assume any character related to his comic lore and possibly create new ones. I doubt there will be new ones created though considering he has probably the most amount villains/ characters compared to any other superhero other than maybe batman

I won’t lie, I wanted to see marvel/ sony do another version of doc oc for this story line (Alfred M was awesome but I want to see Holland’s spidey go against him). And maybe a newer osbourne/ goblin but other than that I want to see villains they not used before like they have done so far. That’s why I was so happy about mysterio and the way they tackled him

I’d like to see scorpion, carnage and felicity (she’s in amazing Spider-Man 2 but not Properly) at some point. Never a massive fan of kraven so I don’t care about him. Although If sinister 6 does happen he’ll most likely be in it. All the good ones have pretty much been done

I suppose there’s some older ones that could do properly like sandman, electro etc and I’d love venom the most but not hardys venom. Unfortunately, it looks like that will happen though

Only reason why I said create is if they can retain ownership thus they open up a whole new rev stream off a new character but I suppose that is then done off Spideys back and then probably creates a problem w marvel. So perhaps that’s why it never happens.

So Sony has the rights to all the villians? Kingpin would be the only one you didn't mention I'd like to see. So just to clarify obviously there will be no spidey MCU films in the next year or two but this isn't completely permanent? Something could happen in say 2-3 years right? I just don't understand how sony doesn't see the benefit for them being part of the MCU. There confident they can get there own people to do a spidey film that is as good without Disney? I guess I'm confused on what Sony plans on doing? I'll be the first to admit I'm not an expert on why this happened and spideys future.

I have no idea who owns the rights but I would of thought it would be Sony. And everything that comes with spidey. It’s like marvel couldn’t call Scarlett witch and quicksilver mutants, then again they was allowed to use them in the MCU. Maybe different licensing agreements

Oh yeah I wouldn’t mind seeing kingpin tbh but he don’t do much for me if I’m honest. He was great in daredevil but I like him more as a background villain

From what I’ve heard and the certain wording in that message from Sony after this all came out insinuated that they could work together in the future maybe after the next solo film. However if it goes fully sour then he’ll fully be out of the MCU. So back to before civil war.

Sony can obviously carry on with his story (that incident at the end of far from home) but they won’t be able to reference, use anything or anyone in his films nor will he be able to appear in MCU film in the future. That’s for the next film if they can’t come to deal and future films if it completely goes sour

It happened due to Disney wanting a higher percentage for the total grossing (Think its the grossing amount). Disney get 5% but their new proposal is 50% and Sony declined.

Can't blame Sony. I mean 50% is about half a billion dollars at this point isn't it? If I was Sony I would have said no also.

They wouldn’t of had the success they did if it wasn’t for Marvel studios and Fiege. Sony clearly can’t handle him on their own. They should just stick to animation with the spiderverse sequels and spinoffs
