I would love to get a a copy of The Town. I am glad this wave came out. I got to pick up steels I have wanted but could not afford, even though the quality sucks. I still got my steels on the shelf. Instead of amaray.

I think that's a really selfish attitude typical of today's society. As long as you've got what you want, who cares right? Some people seem to think that they have the divine right to own something. If you can't afford something, who's fault is that, the film studios' or your own? I for one will be gutted if they re-release more FS exclusives. It's not just the fact that are a little pricier than your average steel (to get to the UK in my case), but also there's something nice about owning a unique product and this wave destroys all of that. How long before we see re-releases of The Town, Inglourious Basterds or Iron Man? The reason FS exclusives are so popular, is because you can trust that they won't be released elsewhere; it seems that is no longer the case unfortunately.

price adjustment! yeahhh! at least for the ones i bought in the store as for the ones from the website, they said they could do nothing at all and that i have to contact them directly by phone or on the actual site...i'll do that tmrw..

They did a price adjustment for my online orders when I went in Sunday. All they had to do was look up my order and they refunded my money and I bought them again, but at the $9.99 price.

Just wanted to respond to this bit above snooloui.

We've got a bunch of new members recently, and I'd like to say a quick thing if I can.

Many folks don't realize that behind the scenes, Wreck and other folks work very hard with studio contacts, retailers, and even the steelbook folks themselves to stress maintaining UNIQUE and non-repeatable designs.

Of course, one of the big things we see are waves that have the same art, but on the other hand, Germany has done it right on many fronts. They have re-released steelbooks, but they are often different in some aspect from the first prints - even though their consumer market is HUGE into the hobby.

Anyway, one of the things we've been doing here at HDN is to stress to Paramount and other studios, with our retailer contacts that we'd like to see different art for the real collectible titles.

Like Watchmen, Iron Man, Inglorious Basterds, and the like.

We're not perfect, but we're collectors too - and we would like to see new designs or variations thereof that don't repeat what has already been done (but can still include new collectors that have just gotten into the the hobby).

I agree snooli this is going to destroy the value of steelbooks with the re release unfortunaly it wont be fun to collect anymore when there all over soon these steelbooks will be in the bargain bin with dvds

Obviously people dont agree with me but that doesnt matter Its still my opinion. Anyway I exchanged some more Ghost Rider Steelbooks for The Matrix Green Lantern The Last
Samurai Clash of the titans and sherlock holmes. They are still holding my
Ghost rider steelbooks for me and they are holding the other steelbooks
for me hopefully I can come up with some money by Thursday and get the
rest. I agree about diversifieng my collection.

When I went to the only store in my area yesterday they had more copies of Shawshank than BoE. Plus the Shawshank copies were all in pristine condition while a couple of the BoE had loose discs. That's why I bought The Shawshank Redemption, plus it's just an all around good flick. Well, so is BoE but I already have the Canadian edition.

Mine had 2 Shawshanks when I went in Sunday afternoon. None Today. Two Sucker Punches None today and two Green Lanterns (Well no Green Lanterns now because I got one and am having them hold the other. The had one Sherlock holmes left on the shelf which I bought today and am having them hols the other. My store is very nice they are holding me one of ea title till thusday They had no Gran Turino and no Hangover II today. I am having them hold those ones. Too many Batman Begins and Batman Dark Knight to count. I have The Matrix Last Samurai Shawshank Redemption Sucker Punch Green Lantern and Sherlock Holmes so far. Definaly going back for the hangovers they are holding for me and Gran Turino. The guy told me no one was really buying them at my store so they dont care about holding.

Someone on br.com that works at BB, says they are. He checked the stock, of one of the SBs and it said 11 more on order.

Just because they ordered them, doesn't mean they are getting them though.

I would think with the advertisment of the SH steelbook being $9.99 to go with SH2, they would be stocking at least more of that one.
