Warner Bros. Wave - May 7, 2013 (Blu-ray SteelBooks) [USA]

A new wave of Steelbooks coming to the USA, due for release on May 7th 2013-appearing at multiple retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Barnes and Noble, in-store at Costco, etc.

Small update:

actually about 3-4 titles will have inside art.

They have put some out at my local Walmart. I spoke to the guy and he said the rest would be put out at midnight. Mine is a 24/7 Walmart as well. The price point they had on them earlier was 1297, so far that's the best I've seen.

The Dark Knight has inside art w/ a "nice" matte finish (a bit better than the old BB wave imo). Didnt pick up Batman Begins because I dont like the cover art but im 99% positive it has Inside art also (if that hasnt been posted already). And The journey steels are glossy.

If it wasn't for you posting that they have interior art I was gonna start a rumor saying each store has a exclusive one with interior art lulz...

So technically, at 3 with inside with have our designs. Unless theres a 4th... I wonder why Watchmen was choosen to splurge on.

This one is exactly the same as the german steelbook boxset, only the back is different artwork.

I called my local Walmart and the guy had no idea what I was talking about. I may head over after work to see if they've gotten the display because he didn't seem like he even knew what a steelbook was, let alone if he was selling them or not. I ordered a copy of Watchmen on Amazon just in case they don't have the display. If Walmart has them, I'll get Watchmen there and cancel my online order. Either way I'm set.
